The Model 200 attaches to any host terminal via a standard RS-232 interface. In the illustration below, the Model 200 is attached to popular credit terminals as well as a representative POS system. The operation of the unit is also illustrated: the ID card is simply inserted in the Model 200 which reads & decodes the PDF-417 barcode can transfers the data to the host terminal for calculations and display.
