Dominate the battlefield with the Trijicon IR Hunter MK2 Thermal Riflescope. This battlefield-ready thermal sight servers as a dedicated and full-featured day or night optic. It mounts directly on top of your firearm using its LaRue Throw-Lever quick release Picatinny mount and provides a capability for seeing targets through camouflage, fog, smoke, and wooded areas. At the core of this device is a 640x480 pixel uncooled VOx (vanadium oxide) micro-bolometer with sensitivity of 50mK and a spectral range of 8-12µm. It captures thermal imagery with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and relays it to the black and white OLED display. To save the power, the sight can be operated in power-saving mode with a refresh rate of 30 Hz. The optical system offers a 19mm, f/1.1 lens with a 22° horizontal field of view.

For easy target detection and recognition, the digital microprocessor offers a multitude of digital image and aiming enhancements and functions. Most notable digital add-ons are Enhanced Target Recognition (ETR) for emphasizing target details against backgrounds, Edge Detect Tactical Mode for viewing targets with more precision and less night blindness, Digital Focus Control Image Enhancement (DFC) for focusing and image sharpness optimization, and Digital Contrast Enhancement (DCE). Also noteworthy are the 8x E-Zoom for quick close-ups while keeping your reticle boresighted, a selection of digital reticles, and a stadimetric range finder.

In addition to optics and imaging, the sight doesn't cut short on the construction. For easy and secure mounting on your firearm, the device offers a LaRue Throw-Lever quick release mount for Picatinny rails. The mount has a compact footprint and offers a low-profile locking lever. To withstand the rigors of the battlefields and adverse environmental conditions, the housing is made of high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum and offers a waterproof performance that protects against a temporary submersion to 9.8'.
