Trijicon Electro-Optics LE100C Overview

  • 1Description

The Trijicon IRMO-100C IR-Patrol 1x19mm f/1.2 Thermal Night Vision Monocular is designed to give you the critical edge in the field without weighing you down—whether your mission is searching for a suspect or securing your position. This version of the IR-Patrol features image-capture capabilities for documentation and later mission review. Images are downloaded via the included cable to a computer running the included PC software.

At the core of this device is a 640 x 480 resolution uncooled VOx microbolometer and a compact 19mm f/1.2 lens system. Unmagnified, it provides a generous 22° field of view that preserves your situational awareness, and with up to 8x digital zoom capabilities you have the power to bring your subject closer for positive identification. You can select from white-hot or black-hot polarities with the option to send video to a monitor or other device via an RS-170 output port.

Protecting optics and electronics is a housing made of lightweight and durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. It is sealed to be waterproof and submersible so it can stand up to rain, snow, or an accidental drop in a stream or puddle. An integrated Picatinny/Weaver accessory rail on top of the housing allows you to mount accessories such as illuminators or lasers. Weighing just a pound and six inches long, the Patrol fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to stow in a pack, pouch, or pocket. The monocular ships with a hard carrying case, a flip-up/stay-on objective lens cap, a winged rubber eyecup, and one CR123 battery to get you powered up right out of the box.
