Enjoy the warmth of a mitten while retaining the ability to operate your camera with the large size Trigger Mitts from Vallerret Photography Glove. The mitts have flip-back covers for your forefinger and thumb, so you can press the shutter button and adjust your controls without having to pull the mitten off.

Merino wool liner and insulation assure your hands will stay warm in cold weather. The exterior is durable and good-looking goat leather and waterproof twill, with a sticky palm-side surface for a sure grip. The mitt is designed with an ergonomic, camera-holding shape and has a slimmer profile than a standard ski mitt.

  • Merino wool liner and insulation for cold-weather comfort
  • Sure-grip palm surface
  • Jersey cuffs keep warmth in and snow out
  • Ergonomic photography-oriented shape

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs improvement. I bought these for flying my drone in the cold. They are not for extremely cold temps, say below 20-30 degrees but a liner helps. I wouldn't recommend the Vallerret liner as they ripped around the cuff the first time wearing and the capacitive touch was not working on an iPad or phone. The pocket is nice for a hand warmer and they are somewhat comfortable. I thought the lining would be thicker and I can feel the seams at my fingertips. If I would have tried them on at the store, I wouldn't have bought them due to the price, thinner than expected material and the forefinger doesn't close all the way, leaving a gap for cold air to get in. The concept is good, but overall, I'm not really satisfied for the price I paid and may return these and the liners if I can find the packaging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't Expect Magic As with any mitten, the free digits (thumb and forefinger) still get cold. Depending on the temperature this can be as unbearable as bare hands. The remaining 3 are quite cozy. On the bright side they appear to be well made. Sturdy. The magnets are a nice touch. I don't know if they are superior to velcro. But they're functional.
