I have two of these. I plugged them into a sabien usb dock that I also purchased from the wonderful folks at B&H. And it allow me to run 4 monitors while only consuming one usb port on my laptop. These make for a simple and clean set-up.

Allows me to set up a 4 screen workstation! I am very happy.

The j5create USB 3.0 DUAL HDMI DISPLAY ADAPTER 4K+1080P adapter/dongle allowed me to set up a quadruple screen workstation with my laptop computer! Since my laptop has one 4K HDMI port - that is 2 screens. The j5create has 1 HDMI port and 1 4K HDMI port giving me screens 3 and 4. You only get to use 1 4K screen with it. The reason may be energy usage - the unit runs warm (a nice hand warmer for winter computing). Beautifully it just worked when I plugged it into my laptop USB 3.0 port. There's a saying, Once you go dual you never go back. Now I can expand my screen work area as needed with most any computer. I am very happy.

I wasn’t sure if I should buy this based on some negative reviews but I did anyway, works as it should and the price is right. I’d highly recommend it.

works nicely, but price caught me off guard the to hook up second monitor I bought 23 Dell for $89.95 and this adapter was almost as expensive.

Item came as quickly and did exactly what I hoping it would. The item doesn't clearly say that it can be used for multiple 2 screens, I am using it on my laptop in addition to a built in HDMI port for a total of 4 screens. It does work.

I have five Mac Airbooks unable to use the dual monitors as since Apple update 10.13.4. the devices don't work. The posted issue has been up on j5creates website for over two months. The units worked great before the os update. Buy a different brand but make sure the device is supported.

At first hook ups this cable wouldn't allow installing 2 monitors on my early 2012 MacBook Air 13". B&H spent a great amount of time doing the research and offering another product but could only find a solution for adding one more monitor, not two. Supposedly my laptop wouldn't handle 2 monitors. As I was about to repackage for return I noticed that this requires drivers to work properly. After visiting their website and installing said drivers this works flawlessly with my old Mac (early USB 3.0 and mini display port, mini display port doesn't have to be used here though just USB) and adding two monitors. I'd call back B&H but figured this would have a greater reach!

Each port can support 3840 x 2160 resolution.
