Go handheld with your FS7 camera by attaching the SHAPE Sony FS7M2 Rig Baseplate and Top Plate. The baseplate has a comfortable shoulder pad and a VCT-14 quick-release for ENG tripod plates. The included handle fits right in the rosette for extra comfort and security when handheld. Extra accessory mounting options are offered via the top plate, with tapped 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, great for articulating arms. For mounting batteries or other rod-based accessories at the rear of the camera, a rear rod block is included for securing 15mm rods. See below for more information on the items included in this kit.
With SHAPE's Sony FS7M2 V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate you can build a 15mm LWS rig around your FS7 or FS7M2 camera. The included 15mm rods enable you to mount a matte box, follow focus, lens support or other production accessory. Since the plate is designed for the FS7, correct lens height is ensured for correct accessory clearance. A rear insert plate is included to support the raised rear portion of the FS7 body, increasing the surface area of the camera base.
The mounting points on the bottom of the baseplate itself can secure to a standard VCT-14 quick release tripod plate. When not locked down, the shoulder pad provides cushioned support for handheld shooting. Touch-fastener on the shoulder pad allows easy removal for cleaning or replacement.
Further handheld options can be introduced using the rosettes towards the front of the baseplate. Separately available handgrips, like the SHAPE Telescoping Handles can be secured directly to the baseplate for increased stability. Separately available 15mm rods can also be attached at the rear of the plate using the 15mm Rod Bloc (also available separately).
The Telescopic Handle for ARRI Rosette from SHAPE is a versatile and adjustable handgrip that attaches to an ARRI standard rosette on the left or right side of your camera rig. It offers 1.5" of extension and uses push-button mechanisms on the extension arm and handle for adjusting the height and rotation of the handles to meet your needs and preference. The push-button on the handle is a huge benefit when you want to adjust the angle on-the-fly, without having to remove your hand or set down the rig.

The SHAPE Rod Bloc for BP-Series Shoulder Rigs hosts all standard 15mm rods and features CNC-machined parts. The ratchet key allows you to secure the rods in the bloc. It's made from lightweight hard-anodized aluminum and has one stainless steel screw.
This pair of Shape 15mm Aluminum Rods (4") connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various Shape and third-party accessories compatible with 15mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch.
The rods are each 15mm in diameter, 4 inches long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminum coated with a clear finish.
Use the top surface of your FS7 camcorder to mount accessories with this Top Plate from SHAPE. With multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped holes, this top plate will accept many standard accessories from magic arms to cold shoe adapters. The U-shape of the plate allows for the original camera handle to remain mounted while the non-flush design prevents over-tightened screws from puncturing the top of the camera casing.
