  • Core SWX TorchLED Bolt 250W On-Camera Light

The TorchLED Bolt 250 On-Camera Light from Core SWX provides a 250W-equivalent light output in a form 40% slimmer than its Bolt 220R predecessor. A single dial controls the Bolt 250's 3200-5600K color temperature range - dimmable from 0-100%. The TorchLED Bolt 250 draws 13W of power and is compatible with Sony L-series type batteries. The included D-tap power cable enables the use of longer-lasting 14.4V brick batteries.

The TorchLED Bolt 250's 9-channel remote allows users to control the light from up to 250' away (non– line-of-sight). On/off powering, color temperature, and light intensity can be controlled remotely. Up to 10 lights can be banked to one channel for uniform control. The TorchLED Bolt 250 includes a 1/4"-20 ball-head to hot-shoe mount, an L-series battery with charger, and a magnetic diffusion filter.

Core SWX TL-BT250 reviews

TorchLED Bolt 250W On-Camera Light with Additional Battery Kit is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good for the price I take two of this light,,,first one stop to work B&H replace it for me,,, is ok,,,, but filter diffuser is going to the floor constantly, this is a bad design,,,female mouth is too short for the price this is not good light.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not well built - Faulty andmanufacturer doesn't respond I used it a few times. Good lighting. - However, one of the batteries stopped working right away, (an expensive one!) The manufacturer didn't respond. - All the magnets fell off. I know a lot of people recommend this light, but it's easily the most junky thing I bought this year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poorly madeand waaay overpriced. I'm stuck with mine as I can no longer return it. I will say its the most powerful light in it's size class that Ive ever used, but... it's very cheaply made. For $350 each (that's what I paid for it x2) it should be a top shelf product. It has no screen to let you know what color temp you've dialed in so it makes it very hard to match 2. The remote does work but is oversized and looks like a 1992 cell phone with a metal telescoping antenna. All but one of the magnets that hold on the defuser fell off and had to be superglued back on. Even after magnets had been re applied the defusers continued to fall off and has to be gaff taped on to be of any use. The 1/4 mounting hole is very shallow (had to add washers) with soft metal which stripped within the first day of use. If these were $50 or even $100 I would get it, but not for over $300......not worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead on arrival Had 2 of the previous model and ordered the new one, unfortunately the new one is dead on arrival. Had the exact same problem when I ordered my first 2, with one being DOA. Can't believe I fell for it twice with 2 of my 4 lights ordered being DOA. When working it is a really handy light, but I lost money on the unit twice now by having to ship back internationally.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The light is okay, the connecting apparatus is cumbersome We use it for outdoor videos. The light itself works fine, but the connector is unnecessarily complex and doesn't lock down solid. That means the light spins around, especially if it is windy. Part of that is because the battery weighs more than the light and is off-center.
