Wirelessly connect your camcorder or other live video source to the SlingStudio Hub by plugging in the SlingStudio CameraLink. The CameraLink takes an HD video signal via HDMI and transmits it wirelessly over 802.11 ac Wi-Fi to the SlingStudio Hub for switching, streaming, or recording. Formats up to 1080p60 at 30 Mb/s are supported. For power, the CameraLink has a built-in lithium-ion battery which provides over two hours of continuous usage. To recharge, use the included micro-USB cable to plug the transmitter into a separately available standard USB charger (a high-output 2A charger is recommended for best performance). It is worth noting that the unit will continue to function while you are charging the battery, which allows for extended runtimes.
A four-segment LED indicator reports the current battery capacity. Use the included shoe mount to secure the CameraLink unit to your camera, be it a DSLR or mirrorless camera, or a standard camcorder. A USB charging cable and a micro-HDMI (Type-D) to Mini HDMI (Type-C) adapter cable are included as well. Cables for cameras which use full-size HDMI ports and micro-HDMI ports are available separately.

SlingStudio CameraLink Reviews
Get one while you can!
These tend to be in limited supply. Worked as expected with no cosmetic flaws. Was not in original packaging.
Smaller than it looks
Love this device, I have bought 2 and plan to buy 4 more. When I say it’s small I mean it’s small and just perfect. It is smaller than a iPhone 7plus by height. The range is good once you put the hub high and kinda in the middle to get a good WiFi spread
Impressive little box
I'm using two of these attached to Canon XA-25s to livestream a worship service to Facebook. Setup up is dead simple and they work flawlessly. Battery lasts about two hours. I'm really glad that the battery life is displayed on the SlingStudio Console app. The only mild complaint is that I wish the battery lasted longer.
Awesome little gadget!
Syncs wirelesslly flawlessly my cameras with the Sling Studio for livestream and recording. Just awesome.
Good. Can easily be better
I am now using this product after using an app called “Switcher Studio” for many weeks. SlingStudio is a good system for a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include portability, stream quality, and versatility, just to name a few. My biggest gripe with this system is that it only allows 4 video sources on the main page of the ap. They advertise that you can have more than four sources but the truth is more than four sources becomes very cumbersome. Example: if you’re doing a live broadcast and you want to change to a fifth source you first have to change pages on the app, decide which of your current four sources can be disposed and add the new source in its place. In addition to that, if you don’t click the new source just right (there’s something weird going on in the app with your ability to touch the source properly and drag it ) you won’t be able to drag it over to one of the four live Slots for source video. If you’re using an iPhone as a source you will have no ability to control white balance. Your ability to control auto focus and exposure is limited. All adjustments to the iPhone must be done from the iPhone you cannot do it remotely through the app. The performance is solid. even if the app crashes your broadcast will continue. You can actually leave the app to make adjustments elsewhere in the tablet without losing your current project or the broadcast. The “audio follows video” feature can be a little tricky at first. Once you understand it, you’ll be fine. This really is a cool product. I realize that the four sources might be a dealbreaker for a lot of people. It definitely would’ve been a dealbreaker for me if I had known about it before I purchased it. But, after using it for a little bit, it change my mind. Maybe sling studio will do an update in the future and take the limit off the four video sources.
Great Wireless Solution for Video
There are other wireless solutions, but we have been extremely satisfied with our SlingStudio - easy to use, surprisingly powerful, and quality end-result - meaning that the Cameralink is a necessity. It is as easy to use as it claims to be. [This picture is an early test setup, but it shows you what it looks like.]
I love this!!!
I love how this helps me cut out all the wires and extra gear that I would need to use if this did not exist. I love studio on a whole and the cameralink just enhances the entire experience every time!
So far so good
Camera link performs well on sports field. Wish there was a separate battery instead of having recharge the whole unit
