Can this be used on the RFMS-580 mic stand to hold shock mount in place WITHOUT reflection shield?
This is the appropriate adapter to join a shock mount with a 3/8-inch threaded female connection to a mic stand, such as the Auray RFMS-580, with a 5/8-inch male threaded end.

Will this adapter allow me to mount a Rode NT-USB microphone to the Auray MS-5130 Round Base Microphone Stand?
I just received the adapter and it fits perfectly both to the Auray mic stand that I had purchased previously and to the Rode NT-USB mic. It's just what I needed.
