Build a high-end system with this B&H Kit, which includes the MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon LGA1151 ATX Motherboard, Intel Core i7-6700K Processor, and two 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz memory modules. The included 6th-generation Core i7-6700K processor sports four cores that operate at a stock speed of 4.0 GHz and can achieve speeds of up to 4.2 GHz while running demanding applications. With an Intel Z270 chipset, unlocked "K" processor, and MSI's Game Boost app, you can overclock the processor to run at faster speeds than its current maximum. To keep the system stable, a user-supplied AIO liquid-cooling solution or high-performance air cooler is recommended. In addition, the provided two 8GB DDR4 memory modules are paired, allowing the system to enable dual-channel memory support that increases the data transfer rate between the modules and memory controller.

    MSI's Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon LGA1151 ATX Motherboard comes with an Intel Z270 chipset and an LGA1151 socket so you can build a Windows system that runs on a 6th- or 7th-generation processor and up to three dedicated graphics cards. The Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon is capable of supporting up to 64GB of DDR4 memory chips, six SATA-based storage drives, and two ultra-fast SSDs with an M.2 form factor.

    Expansion for the motherboard's capabilities is made possible by three PCIe 3.0 x16 and three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, allowing you to install dedicated graphics cards, NVMe storage cards, 10GbE network adapters, and more. With AMD Crossfire and NVIDIA SLI support, you can create a gaming rig with graphics cards linked. For non-gaming builds, MSI has equipped this motherboard with HDMI and DVI-D ports that offer detailed visuals to your monitors via integrated Intel graphics technology.

    The Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard comes with a total of eight USB ports with varying speeds. For connections with keyboards and mice, two USB 2.0 ports are available. To connect with printers, scanners, and external storage drives, this motherboard offers four USB 3.0 ports, which transfer data at a rate of up to 5 Gb/s. With speeds of 10 Gb/s, the two onboard USB 3.1 ports are suitable for transferring large-sized files from digital cameras. Moreover, one of the USB 3.1 ports has a USB Type-C interface that provides a reversible design. Other notable connections include a Gigabit Ethernet port as well as audio jacks, which deliver 7.1-channel surround sounds utilizing an onboard Realtek ALC1220 audio processor.

    The Core i7-6700K 4.0 GHz Quad-Core Processor from Intel is the sixth generation of the Core i7 product line that is now built using Skylake architecture. This processor features a base frequency of 4.0 GHz and, as with many Skylake technologies, it comes with features such as Intel Turbo Boost 2.0, Hyper-Threading, and vPro. With Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, the maximum clock rate this processor can achieve is 4.2 GHz.
