In BH product pictures, there's a samsung phone with the gimbal. However, I've read in the Play Store comments that the Android version of Zhiyun app is not on par with iOS one. Any idea if we should expect both apps have the same features in the near future? This is a deal breaker for me. Also, it looks like there is not a ZY Play APP for Android but there is for iOS.
We do not have any word on an improved Android app at this time.

Can yo shoot Facebook Live while on the app?
We know you can shoot Facebook Live with this and your phone. We were not able to get a confirmation from Zhiyun-Tech so it is our opinion only that you probably can do it through the app as well.

Will it accommodate the new Samsung Note 8? The screen size is 6.3.
The Maximum Width for this unit is 6.5 inches. If you have a smart phone that is 6.3 inches wide it will be just under the maximum width and should work.
