Will the bag hold a Canon 5D with a 100-400 attached?
Asked by: Gary
Yes, the Gura Gear G Elite G26 Pro Camera Backpack (Charcoal), B&H # GUG26BPCHAR, would be compatible for use with the Canon EOS 5D DSLR camera with the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens attached to the camera.

Did they improve the shoulder straps/harness from the poor arrangement on the original Bataflae 26 bag?
Asked by: Anonymous
The main selling point for these bags is that they swallow gear. Secondary is comfort for hikes. From the information we have it seems that indeed the harness was improved on the G26.

Can this bag hold a tripod and water bottle? I ...

Can this bag hold a tripod and water bottle? I can’t tell from the picture if the bag has pockets on both sides of the bag. Also, when a laptop is in its compartment, can the bag still be opened on one side to access gear (butterfly system)? Last question, can the laptop pocket be locked with a small lock or wired lock?
Asked by: Lynette
Yes, the bag can hold a water bottle and there is a way to configure the bag with a multipoint tripod/monopod attachment and M.O.L.L.E. attachment points on the side. https://bhpho.to/2Q0NApG https://bhpho.to/2EH3x1e Yes, the the bag can be opened from the sides to access equipment. The main compartment is made to be locked, but the laptop compartment is not. Of course one could "customize " the case to lock the laptop pocket: https://bhpho.to/2MjkQbA

Will this bag fit a Nikon D750 with Tamron 500mm lens attached?
Asked by: Cheryl
If you are referring to the Tamron 200-500mm lens it should fit easily with that body attached. That lens is only about 9" long. I have the Canon 500mm f4 II and it fits snugly w/ hood reversed--no chance of attaching a body, but it's about 17". Very high quality pack, but may be a bit "boxy" for your lens, meaning it will extend out from your back a good distance.
