I've been wanting to do work with painted canvas for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger on a Savage, because I've heard great things. This eclipse color is quite dark, so if you want more texture to show in photos, either light the canvas or go with the other grat (I think it's called Ash?). Wonderful though, and I am very happy with it. I plan to by Desert Sand next I think.
Very high quality canvas, but the image shows - lot more contrast than what you’ll see live or on your images. The canvas is much darker and single-tone, and unless you’re blasting light directly on the canvas, it shows as a lush, yet solid dark background without the lighter contrasting puffs of color.
