The F300-3 Elite Joiner from Logan Graphics is a tool designed to join frame corners and create custom-made frames.
The vice plate, which adjusts per the v-nail spacing guide, determines where the v-nail is inserted into the molding. The clamp foot holds the two moldings against the vice plate, and the molding clamp holds the two moldings down against the top of the joiner's base; therefore, having the moldings aligned and clamped down and the drive lever pushed down ensure the v-nails go straight into the wood.
During this process, it is important to keep the ends of the moldings flush and leveled on top of a table or working bench to give support, and reaching that height can be achieved with the Elite Joiner's adjustable feet, which have a ranging height of 35.5" to 38.3". Logan Graphics recommends using the framing glue and accelerator, which secure a better hold before joining moldings.
