When i put my t3i on it it was a little unbalanced because my camera wasn't heavy enough to balance two counter weights. If you have this problem a quick solution I used was to flip the screws around and put a weight in the bottom center and slightly lower the pole if needed. I recently got a battery grip though and this has managed to add enough weight to balance both sides out with two weights.

That camera+lens+battery combination weighs 8.88lbs. The Autopilot's weight capacity is 6.0lbs. So, unfortunately the answer is no. Based on specs, the Glidecam HD4000 Stabilizer System B&H # GLHD4000 is rated for 10lbs so it may do the trick.

Non-Motorized Stabilizers like this product from ProAm USA and Motorized Gimbal stabilizers essentially do the same job. The difference is that Non-Motorized options take a bit more practice and patience to learn how balance and use as they do not have a battery to compensate.
