EZ Dupe Gold Series Overview

The Gold Series 1-Copy 24x DVD & CD Duplicator from EZ Dupe is equipped with one DVD-ROM drive and one DVD±RW writer, allowing you to make 1 copy of your source media. All optical drives utilize a SATA interface and feature a maximum read speed of 24x. The maximum write speeds depend on the type of recording media being used, with DVD±R supporting write speeds up to 24x, DVD±RW and DVD±DL up to 8x, CD-R up to 52x, and CD-RW up to 32x.

Supported source formats include DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-Video, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R9, CD-DA, CD-ROM Mode 1, CD-ROM XA Mode 2, Multi-session Photo CD, CD-I, Video CD, and CD Extra (CD Plus), while supported recording formats include 12cm 4.7GB DVD-R/RW, 12cm 4.7GB DVD+R/RW, 12cm 8.5GB DL DVD, 12cm 80 minute/700MB CD-R, 12cm 74 minute/650MB CD-RW; 8cm 1.47GB mini DVD-R, 8cm 24 minute/210MB mini CD-R, and 8cm 50MB Business CD-R. Included is a power cord.

This dupe machine is easy to use and is very fast, my old machine only copied and twice the originals playing time. This can copy in about a minute or so, and direct copying is easy to use.

I have many cd's and some DVD's that I have made from cassette tapes etc. (with equipment from B&H) with music from my old band playing days. I'm making copies to give to family and friends for keep sake. So far the EZ DUPE is doing a fantastic job (no thanks to me). I find the instruction book has much more info than I'll ever interpret but the machine seems to know a lot more than I do and just makes the CD's and DVD's in spite of me. I told the person during the live chat that I knew nothing about this kind of stuff and he recommended this machine. It's doing what I want to do so I guess it will only get better with time.

I bought this for church services video.  Previously I had a 4 bay from EZ Dupe that worked reliably for over 5 years.  This one looks well made.

Bought a similar machine before this...sent it to factory for repair..came back and still never worked right. This one...out of the box - perfect.� Makes copies quickly and good.

This unit is a little slow copying discs with a lot of ID numbers. Also I do not like the display being on the top. My old unit had display on the front which is better for me. At least it was inexpensive!

Yes, the EZ Dupe Gold Series 1-Copy 24x DVD & CD Duplicator BH #EZD1TDVDLGB can copy commercial music CD's. It will not copy DVD's that have copy protection.
