HoldFast Gear Money Maker Overview

The medium-sized Money Maker Two-Camera Harness by HoldFast Gear is made of tan water buffalo leather, and holds two cameras comfortably at your hips. The straps of the harness lie in an "X" pattern across your back for added support. The Speed Clutch mechanism allows the camera to slide along the harness to eye level easily.

To secure your gear to the harness, the system includes two Camera Holdfast Accessory Clips that screw into the 1/4-20" tripod threads of each camera or lens. There are also two metal D-rings on the front of each strap, and two on the back, that allow you to attach optional camera straps and accessories, such as an HF Luggage Tag Wallet or extra Camera Leashes. If you attach optional Camera Leashes to the front D-rings, you can comfortably secure a third camera to the harness.

The medium size Money Maker provides the best fit for people between 5'8" and 6'2" in height. The Money Maker Two-Camera Harness is made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects.

Ii was covering an outdoor track meet with two cameras when I noticed a pro photographer using this harness. I ordered it the next day and will never use two individual straps again. This is so comfortable, does not tangle up, and each camera is instantly available. Best accessory I've bought in years!

I love the leather and the sturdy latches. The detaching took some time to get used to, but I love how safe it feels.

Used it for the first time at a full wedding day with two cameras. One of the D-Rings popped right off when I pulled it gently (rivets are weak). The leash clips to keep a camera from swinging when not in use are just an afterthought to the design and are essentially useless. The clips are difficult to manipulate and very stiff and you risk dropping your camera unless you're sitting down to connect. Looks way-cool though!

I have a leather MoneyMaker, and bought this as a backup and to have something more easily washable, especially for long summer shoots as the world bubbles and broils. The red color is true to the web image, and the fabric portion of the harness seems well-made, but the clips themselves seem cheap, and they click loudly.

I'll cut to the chase. I love this harness and I am not a wedding photographer. I shoot lots of rodeo and outdoor equine events. My setup is a D800 with Battery grip and a 24mm and a D850 with battery grip and a Sigma 135mm or 70-200mm. Not a lightweight setup. I don't like carrying a camera bag and I need to move fast along with being past 60 with a bad back. I tried other setups and had cameras flying and a sore neck. This rig works great provided you take the time to set it up. Watch the videos and do it right. It fits perfectly I can carry it for hours without back or neck pain and my cameras are always within reach. The leather, hardware, and workmanship are all top-notch, I'm a horse tack snob and this passes my test, it will last a lifetime. I made a few non-permanent changes so I could use peak design fasteners. The hardware included is bombproof and along with the included safety straps ends any worry of dropping a camera. I have no regrets and I'm sorry I waited so long to buy it, oh and it looks great too.

Very ergonomic, quality made, looks sharp, does the job. Worked well to hold to camera bodies with large lenses and attached flashes.

Is there a size chart? What sizes are medium and large?

According to the manufacturer, the ideal carrying position of the MoneyMaker is for the strap to fall about 4 below the armpit so the camera rest higher on the body. A small sized harness would be for an individual at a height of 5 7 and below. A medium sized harness would be for an individual at a height of 5 8- 6 2. Lastly, a large sized harness would be for an individual at height of 6 3 and above or if they wear extra large clothes. They also state that if your size falls into one of these ranges but youre really built or broad shouldered, then you should go a size up. Otherwise, if you are tall and slender, then you can size down.

I have noticed that the clips that attach to the camera in the picture are the older version there is a newer one that has a safety thinking built in. Will the one I order be the latest version? And will you be getting in the large explorer lens pouches?

We are selling the newer version which has changed to a newer clasping mechanism as well as the new addition to a tether as well. Currently, we do not carry the Large Explorer Lens Pouches.

The HoldFast Gear MoneyMaker Two-Camera Swagg Harness (Black, Cotton Canvas) is designed for two cameras. If you use it with one camera it will not be balanced.
