Originally available only with their Trinovid HD's, but now offered here for everyone, Leica's large Binocular Adventure Strap is a unique harness system that can be configured multiple ways to more easily carry and handle your favorite optic, while also doubling as a soft carrying bag to protect the binocular when not in use. This model is designed to hold full-size binoculars such as their Noctivid and Geovid, and can be used on most similarly sized binoculars. Made of neoprene it is water and dirt-repellent, and helps to protect your binocular from the elements as well as bumps and impacts. It can be configured as a conventional padded neck strap, as a shoulder harness that transfers the weight off the neck to relieve neck strain, or as a waist belt.

Binocular Adventure Strap (Large) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good carry system could use small improvement Very classy, versatile and well made carry system. This functions as a harness although it is called a "strap". The design allows use of bins without any lens covers if desired while protecting the lenses better than many harness designs. (But see below). Easy to put on and off and use in the field. It does take some experimentation and adjustment to fit your carry preference so do take the time to tinker with it. The conversion to a nice compact reasonably protective storage bag /hand carry configuration is a plus most harnesses don't have . Four stars rather than Five for several reasons. It's pricey but then it functions as a both harness and a carry bag so in that sense it's a two for one deal. Second and most important, it does not take weight off the neck quite as well as some of the best harnesses. I like using it with the small belt strap threaded through the neck strap as shown on the photo as this takes more weight off the neck than wearing the belt around the waist. Either method eliminates unwanted movement of the bins though. Finally, properly positioning the zipper really helps get the best fit, lens protection and weight off the neck but the zipper does not lock in place. As it tends to come somewhat unzipped during movement, weight is transferred to the neck and the part protecting the ocular lenses pulls apart exposing them some to dust, rain, etc. A locking zipper would get this up to 4&1/2 stars.
