Enjoy 7.2-channel surround sound and wireless connectivity with your favorite speaker system and the Pioneer VSX-LX302 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It has Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay built-in for wireless connection to your compatible smart devices. The receiver outputs 100W per channel at 8 Ohms and features MCACC sound optimization to tailor the sound to your environment. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to create a more 3-dimensional sound space.

In addition to Bluetooth and AirPlay, the VSX-LX302 has seven HDMI inputs and two outputs, all of which support 4K and 3D, and the main output supports ARC to reproduce display-based sound, such as from built-in apps. It also has a USB port on the front for the playback of files stored on flash drives. Built-in Wi-Fi will allow you to wirelessly connect to your computer or NAS for playback of your stored files.

Note:
Access to certain Internet-based content may require a subscription to a service. Not all services are available in all areas.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology

You can stream audio from mobile devices, laptops, and computers over dual-band Wi-Fi for a stable wireless connection. The Pioneer Remote App gathers music on the device and on network-attached storage devices into a library, and provides access to available streaming services. Bluetooth wireless technology is also included for convenient transmission of app-based audio to your entertainment system.

Pioneer Remote App-Ready

With the free Pioneer Remote app, you can use your iOS or Android device for operating the receiver, or play back tunes stored on your device. You can also select Internet radio stations and play songs from your media server.

Wireless Multi-Room Audio

This receiver supports FireConnect, powered by Blackfire Research. FireConnect is designed to be a stable wireless protocol that mirrors any audio source connected to a compatible audio product in your main room, from vinyl to streaming audio, on a compatible wireless speaker in another room.

Dolby Atmos for 5.2.2-Channel Audio

The VSX-LX302 is compatible with 5.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio. You can reproduce object-oriented sound in smooth, curving movements, or the realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by the top speakers.

DTS:X

DTS:X is the audio codec from DTS that leverages object-based audio designed to enable immersive and interactive audio experiences. Since DTS:X can automatically adapt the audio to the existing channels and speaker system, no specific speaker layout is required.

Reflex Optimizer

When using Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, high-directivity sound from the unit reflects off the ceiling, while low-directivity sound directly reaches the ears. The different pathways cause a phase shift, making the sound seem out of sync; the Reflex Optimizer, which uses Phase Control technology, is designed to adjust this shift and improve the localization of the sound image by aligning the frequencies with those of the floor speakers.

4K, HDR, and BT.2020 Support

The VSX-LX302 supports pass-through for HDR10 and Dolby Vision, plus all HDMI terminals support 4K, BT.2020, and HDCP 2.2.

MCACC Auto Room Tuning

MCACC Auto Room Tuning helps create an enhanced acoustic environment. With the included microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level, and distance, and equalizes response.

Chromecast built-in, Available with a Future Firmware Update

With Chromecast built-in, you can use your mobile device to stream your favorite music, radio, or podcasts to your system. You can control the audio from anywhere in the house using Chromecast-enabled apps running on your personal device. Chromecast built-in is scheduled to be made available after a future firmware update.

DTS Play-Fi, Available with a Future Firmware Update

DTS Play-Fi wirelessly streams any audio content from any compatible mobile device to DTS Play-Fi-compatible audio systems, creating a multi-room system in your home. You can stream different sources to different speakers at the same time from the DTS Play-Fi app. DTS Play-Fi is scheduled to be made available after a future firmware update.

Optional Multi-Room Speakers

Expand your home audio system with the optional MRX-3 or MRX-5 wireless speakers.

question

Can the inputs be renamed on the Pioneer VSX-LX302. If I'm not using the GAME input for gaming audio I need it to say something like TUNER #1 . Is the possible?
Asked by: Chris B.
No it is not possible to rename an input on this receiver. The best I think you could do in that regard would be to buy a universal remote that you program with your PC and call it what you like. But it will never show up on the receivers digital read out. JS
