Will this work with the Sony a1?

Will this work with the Sony a1?
Asked by: Chris
I agree with the previous comment, no, this model would not fit the Sony a1. I would however highly recommend this bracket and contact the manufacturer to see if and when they have plans of making this available for the a1 format.

Hi! I shoot in adverse conditions and I have concerns around the fact the battery door is no longer on the camera. Is there any type of seal on the bracket to prevent water from getting between the l bracket and the camera

question

Can this RRS L-Bracket be attached to the camera without removing the battery cover from the camera? I would rather leave the battery door on the camera since taking the L-bracket off to replace the battery is not a big problem for me. Also because the new Sony Z battery lasts a long time.Thanks.
Asked by: Greg
Yes, you can. The battery door will be relocated to the L bracket.
