Specs-wise, it's equipped with a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, integrated Intel HD graphics, and a 256GB Opal 2 solid-state drive. Furthermore, its 15.6" display is built on an IPS panel and has a 1920 x 1080 resolution for crisp and clear Full HD content playback. Durability
ThinkPad laptops undergo 12 military tests and over 200 quality checks to ensure that they are durable enough for everyday use.
Fingerprint Reader
This notebook features a fingerprint reader so you can secure the system and easily log into Windows without remembering your password.
Dual Batteries
The ThinkPad T570 is built with dual batteries, which can last up to 13 hours of use on a single charge. Actual battery life will depend on usage.
Enhanced TrackPad & TrackPoint
Upgraded with a better TrackPad and TrackPoint, the T570 will have less jumps and gaps when scrolling for smoother and more accurate navigation.
Thunderbolt 3
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.

Windows 10 Pro

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana, can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the Internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information-gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
Windows 10 Pro
The Pro version of Windows 10 includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for businesses users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications.

    Lenovo T570 reviews

    15.6" ThinkPad T570 Notebook is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like it alot I moved up from a T540p so i am familiar with this Lenovo product line, but there is a lot to like on this newer version. The laptop I purchased has all the options, 32G, 1TB SSD, and pretty much every other option available. Things that seem better to me is its thinner, the extended battery protrudes out the bottom instead of the back so it tips up a bit (i like that), The touchpad has been improved from the "clunk pad" of the T540, the finger print reader seems better, the keyboard has been improved slightly i believe, seems to have a little better feel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent build and perfomance, amazing screen The first machine i received was faulty. Screws were loose leading to heat production, unresponsiveness, the screen falling shut and system crashes. The current replacement machine i am using to write this review has a much better build quality. The screen hinge is tighter and the temperatures while hotter than what I'd expect are acceptable minus random fluctuations. The trackpad also occasionally creaks but it is responsive. The features, display and port selection of this notebook are excellent. The screen used outperforms competitors displays in my opinion and is a pleasure to work with even without a lot of scaling. The port selection features full width thunderbolt 3 which also supports an external gpu. The performance of the notebook is where i am let down. It has roughly the same real world performance of my 4 year old t430. The 7600U is not powerful enough for the price and size of the machine with the machine hanging when there are many tabs and two browser windows. The 940mx also isn't very powerful but works perfectly for its intended use. All in or the machine should suite most individuals and it is a lot more durable and reliable to compared to other brands. The quality has increased drastically from my first machine to the one i am using now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it!! A good thing comes in a small package!! I have only used it for a week now, but I'm already in love. Somehow, they used the downgraded option to make it to Windows 7, and I had to order a kit to make it back to Windows 10 :( Other than this, I'm very happy to get it. Very quick and feeling of the keyboard is really good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Good I bought the T570 to replace my old T530. The computer will only boot 1 out of 10 times. When it does boot it runs so slow you can't do any work. I thought getting a new T500 series would be an upgrade from the T530 but my T530 is faster and boots everytime. I would not recommend getting T570 to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Laptop Purchase I bought this machine as a gift to myself for the winter holiday and I am so glad I did. The machine is fast, sleek, and well-crafted. It is sturdy and has great tactile feel for typing. I use this laptop for personal use. When I was shopping for a laptop, it had to include a side number keypad, an accurate trackpad, a high quality screen. and a fast processor. When I came across this machine I was over the moon, and it continues to deliver great performance now that I have had it for a few months. I also value this machine's great battery life and fingerprint technology. My only critique would be to make the right and left clicks on the trackpad (when I am not using my Lenovo wireless mouse) more responsive or make the click area more pronounced. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a quality machine with no bloatware/cheap frills. I look forward to a long road ahead with this machine. Well done, Lenovo! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with my new computer! I bought this computer to start my new business about 1 month ago and so far so good. I updated with 16GB of RAM and am using the ThinkPad docking station to accommodate the high number of USB devices I am using. I have an external mouse and keyboard, external hard drive, additional monitor, printer, and scanner attached to my ThinkPad. Fingers crossed, but everything seems to be working! I got a good deal on my ThinkPad and I believe I have the right amount of computing power for my needs. I am satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to others with similar technology needs.
