Nimar NI320S Overview

  • 1Description

You can capture detailed shots of coral, moray eels, blue-ringed octopi, and other wonders of the sea at depths as great as 197', thanks to Nimar's Flat Port for select Sony FE lenses. It features a bayonet mount for connection to Nimar's underwater housings for Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras.

The front element is flat so as not to correct for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer. Therefore, the port provides ample magnification for detailed close-up images. Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion by seawater, the port's front element is made of acrylic and its body is crafted from Delrin acetyl resin. Petal-like scalloped edges on the front end serve as a built-in hood, offering enough coverage to block stray light from entering the lens while also protecting the port's element against impact.
