Sony MRW-S1/T Reviews
Excellent!
Great device. It has a small footprint and does the job at a great price.
easy to carry
Easy to carry around on the go, works well
Simple. Works great
The headline says it all. Not real fast, but I don't have many files to upload.

Sony UHS-II SD Memory Card Reader, compact and very good work in my all SD card...
Works as advertised
I am using this with sony V60 cards. It is super fast, transfare is very quick. Cheap!
Pretty good speed for newer motherboard
I have ProGrade Digital 128GB UHS-II v60 card. The file transfer speed from the reader to old Crucial M500 SSD through USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps Type-A is over 200 MB/s. (MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4 motherboard. end of 2021). Similar speed to a regular Seagate 7200rpm 2TB drive. Haven't tried the Gen 2 10Gbps port. The speed is just over 100 MB/s on an 8 y/o motherboard like Asus Z87-A. First gen of USB 3.0 Enjoy the fast speed w Sony UHS-II card reader. but i don't drive fast :)
A pleasant surprise
I ordered this after a discussion with a BH Photo sales person but, other than expecting that it would work, I knew little about the product when I ordered it. I was very pleasantly surprised: 1. It is self contained ... it plugs right into a USB port. No cable to look for. This is important to me because I have lots of cables lying around and don't like to spend time finding the right one. 2. It has a cover for the USB connector so it will be easy to take with me ... and transfer my images to my laptop ... when I travel. 3. I am not one to measure transfer speeds but this device is plenty fast for transferring a bunch of image files from my memory chips to my computer. I am happy with this purchase and am also grateful to the BH staff for recommending it.
Not so fast.
Fair but not so fast.
