question

I see both units have two Ethernet ports.Do I have to populate both ports with cables connecting to my router to be able to use both ports on the other unit?Or I can just populate one port (to my router) and use the other two ports on the second unit (to my computer and console)?

question

do you need to plug in ethernet cable or do the units just extend range or both?
Asked by: Harvey S.
the product works well, is fast and allows you to run the ethernet signal across the electrical wiring in your home or office. helpful when you dont have extra ethernet cable uns available for connecting to the local network. NOTE - eah unit must be plugged directly into the wall, if plugged into a surge, they will not work. also, each unit has two ethernet plugs in it, for two ethernet connections at each location where device is to be used. last, you need to have at least one ethernet port on your router, and one cable should be plugged directly into a router (or an ethernet switch plugged directly into the router).
