The Acer Predator G1 Desktop Computer packs a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, an enormous amount of RAM and storage, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card all within a compact chassis, which you can easily take to a LAN party. The Intel Core i7-7700 processor is armed with four cores that are clocked at 3.6 GHz, but with Intel's Turbo Boost technology, they can achieve speeds of up to 4.2 GHz. Aside from the processing power, two 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz chips provide 32GB of dual-channel memory for the system to handle commercial-level projects. With a 512GB M.2 SSD installed, the Acer Predator G1 starts up in seconds and launches apps nearly instantly. For gaming, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5X video memory delivers smooth frame rates at 4K resolutions. With the supplied high-performance hardware, the Predator G1 can efficiently dominate gaming matches as well as demanding workloads.

Other notable features include Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 chipset that produces 7.1-channel surround sounds utilizing the desktop's audio jacks. In addition to the 512GB SSD, Acer has equipped the Predator G1 with a 3.5" hard drive that spins at 7200 rpm and offers 2TB of digital storage for holding movies, photos, and more. To power all of the internal components and built-in LEDs, Acer has included two external 230W power adapters.

Built into the Predator G1 are six USB 3.0 ports for connecting devices, Killer Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO support for accessing networks, and a card reader for reading and writing to SDXC memory cards. One of the six USB ports has a USB Type-C interface, allowing you to attach a USB-C cable on the first try. The Predator G1 is further rounded out with a slim SuperMulti DVD drive, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, backlit mechanical keyboard, USB gaming mouse, and Windows 10 Home preinstalled.

Predator G1 Features

Design
Power packed, this Predator G1 desktop computer squeezes performance into a compact body that you can take to LAN parties. Once there, it features built-in LEDs on the chassis to produce a pulsing, multi-colored glow, which can be customized to react to game sounds or music. When you're not gaming, two retractable cradles on either side of the case offer you convenient places for resting your headsets. Acer has also included a USB mechanical keyboard with fully colored backlit keys that are easy to program with gaming shortcuts and lighting effects, using a PredatorSense gaming control panel. Moreover, the Predator G1's chassis is easy to open, allowing you to perform modifications on the system.
Performance
The Predator G1 is powered by a 7th generation Intel Core i7-7700 processor, 32GB of DDR4 system memory, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics. This level of performance generates heat, so Acer has designed the Predator G1 with an IceTunnel thermal system, which provides multiple air intake zones on the front and left sides of the machine to create an efficient air flow that pushes out hot air. For online or LAN gaming, Killer DoubleShot Pro boosts your network's speed by intelligently splitting your networking data between your cable and Wi-Fi connections for achieving high-speed bandwidths. You choose which applications use these bandwidths for improving the networking performance.
Multimedia
Leap into Full HD action with NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5X video memory, driven by NVIDIA Pascal architecture. This gaming platform is VR ready, and you can plug in a VR headset to step into a new world. With Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 with 7.1-channel audio, the Predator G1 will provide realistic surround sounds, enhancing the overall gaming, movie watching, and other experiences. The Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 amplifies enemies' footsteps, masks your voice, and more. These features can be customized using an audio control interface. After gaming, relax and pop your favorite movie into the DVD drive. The onboard HDMI port lets you expand this experience on your home-theater setup.

Windows 10 Home Features

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
