Is the the Ninja Inferno capable of powering the ...
Is the the Ninja Inferno capable of powering the Panasonic GH5 the way my Small HD monitor does? (I purchased a Panasonic accessory kit made by Small HD so that the monitor's battery powers the camera with a "dummy" battery with a wire to the monitor.)
That is not possible. The Ninja Inferno does not offer a battery output like the SmallHD Focus monitor does. That is not a feature this monitor offers.

Record time
Record time
That will depend on the size of the drive used and the recording quality you select. For UHD 4K at 30fps you could get around 2 hours recording ProRes HQ while ProRes LT would get you closer to 5 hours.

Is it designed to sit on top of a SONY mirrorless camera hot shoe (with an adapter)? I heard the SONY hot shoe is not strong enough...
While possible, it is not recommended. You could cause damage to the hot shoe, which has electronics in it, when using such a large monitor directly on the top of a mirrorless camera. Getting a cage for your camera would be the best and most popular solution for adding accessories.

Does it only record in video mode? I just want to capture what I see in viewfinder when shooting stills. Thanks!!
I don’t know if it will record a still image. I have used this to record video only. I do shoot stills, but I record those in my Nikon camera in RAW media. I don’t know if you can record digital still media with this. I know you can record video from any HDMI input

Is there a 1/4" mounting option on the sides, or only on the bottom?
There are 1/4" threads on the top and bottom only. To have it live alongside your camera, you can hang the Ninja Inferno from the top using an Israeli Arm (articulating arm) attached to your camcorder if it has a 1/4" mount on top... or with a clamp.
