With wizard-based setup and centralized configuration, the DIVAR IP 6000 Series 64-Channel 2 RU NVR from Bosch provides for installation of up to 64 cameras. Once you receive the recorder, log onto the Bosch website and download the company's Video Recording Manager (VRM) software and Video Streaming Gateway (VSG) software for 64 camera licenses and full NVR functionality. The recorder can also be expanded to support a total of 128 camera licenses with an additional software download (available separately).
The system uses Dynamic Transcoding technology to stream high-definition video in real time, despite low or limited bandwidth. There is an Intel Quad-Core E3-1275 V3 Processor with 8GB of installed memory, RAID 5 configuration, and dual port Gigabit Ethernet for a comprehensive system. Additionally, energy-efficient hot-swappable redundant power supplies and SATA-3 hard drives protect against losing information in case of a power outage or if memory capacity is reached.
The recorder comes with Video Client, a Windows PC application for remote configuration, live viewing, and playback. Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 provides a simple user interface, and a built-in Microsoft System Center Suite offers one central tool for all operations management. SNMP, Remote Desktop, and HTTP monitoring support for the Video Recording Manager software and the system's hardware allows you to monitor your surveillance system from any web browser.
This recorder is compatible with all Bosch cameras, and it is ONVIF-compliant for a wide range of compatible surveillance devices. There are eight 3.5" SATA HDD slots, each with an 8TB capacity , and the NVR comes with eight pre-installed 8TB HDDs. You can add Bosch VMS software (available separately) to the recorder to create a scalable IP video management solution. The unit is 2HU rack mountable for placing in a convenient and secure location.
