The N2810PRO 2-Bay NAS Enclosure from Thecus is equipped with an Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, and two storage bays, so you can create your own NAS server. The two bays are designed to hold 3.5" hard drives with a SATA II or III interface. Once drives are installed, you can use the included ThecusOS 7.0 operating system to configure the drives in a RAID 0, 1, or JBOD array. Connecting the N2810PRO to a network is accomplished utilizing its two Gigabit Ethernet ports, which support link-aggregation. Other notable ports include three USB 3.0 as well as an HDMI and DisplayPort output to enable a desktop-like experience and access printers and external storage drives. There's also an integrated variable-speed fan that cools the internal components and your drives.

ThecusOS 7.0

Thecus System Failover
The Thecus System Failover feature is a fault-tolerance process that creates mirrored data volumes. With at least two Thecus NAS available, data is copied by schedule and all changes are mirrored between the two NAS. While the second NAS is not visible, it communicates with the primary NAS. In the event of a power or network failure, a scheduled maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances, System Failover automatically redirects operations to the secondary Thecus NAS, which then acts as the primary NAS.
Remote Access with Virtual Private Network (VPN)
