The Fly More Combo from DJI combines the Sunrise Yellow Spark quadcopter with the Remote Controller, Charging Hub and hub power supply, a set of spare propellers, propeller guards, and a spare flight battery (for a total of two).

  • Spark Quadcopter (Sunrise Yellow)

Though agile in the air, drones can be bulky and cumbersome when on land. Not so with the Spark from DJI, which won't hold you back no matter what the adventure. This compact quadcopter features an integrated camera with motorized stabilization to capture 12MP photos, 1080p Full HD videos, and even aerial selfies. The drone's compact size, 31 mph top speed, and up to 16 minutes of flight time will appeal to a variety of users, from FPV enthusiasts to racers to those just looking for more dynamic shots than are possible with simply a smartphone or camcorder. The drone features GPS- and vision-based navigation for outdoor or indoor use, a variety of flight modes, and a 3D obstacle-detection system.

    Integrated Camera and Gimbal

A 2-axis gimbal-stabilized camera backed by a 1.2/3" CMOS sensor allows you to capture up to 12MP still photos and record 1080p30 Full HD video.
    2-Axis Gimbal
Spark's 2-axis mechanical gimbal and UltraSmooth technology dramatically reduce shake and rolling shutter effect, keeping shots stable without loss of detail.
    High-Grade Optics
Spark's camera features an f/2.6 aperture wide-angle lens with a 25mm-equivalent focal length for a wide (but not distorted) angle of view. Five elements are arranged into a single group that fit into a compressed frame.
    Pano Mode
Spark shoots horizontal or vertical panoramas by automatically adjusting its gimbal and heading.
    Shallow Focus
3D vision technology helps capture photos with a shallow depth of field.
    Photo Modes
    • Single Shot
    • 3-Frame Burst Shooting
    • Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB)
    • Intervals from 2 to 60 Seconds
    720p Video Downlink
Wi-Fi enables connecting to a mobile device as far away as 1.2 miles. Both 2.4G and 5.8G signals are supported for better reliability where the spectrum is congested. In addition to app-based functions, you can view a live video feed at up to 720p resolution.

    Flight Control System

    Navigation System
The Spark is able to position itself accurately in a range of environments, beyond what is possible using basic "optical flow" technology, which depends on a single downward-facing camera and assumes that the ground below is always flat. Spark is able to sense its environment in three dimensions and react to it, ensuring it hovers steadily, whether it is high up on the side of a cliff where downward sensors have no target, or under a forest canopy where satellite positioning is blocked and the ground is covered in uneven markings and obstacles.
    Quick Launch
With FaceAware, Spark lifts off from your hand by recognizing your face. It takes off and hovers in place within seconds of powering on.
    Gesture-Base Control
Tell Spark what to do without using a controller or app. Simply use hand gestures to maneuver and take photos.
    • SELFIES: Raise your arms, wave your hand, or make a frame with your fingers to maneuver Spark and shoot photos
    • PALMCONTROL: Spark can follow your hand movements or even take off and land on your palm
    QuickShot Smart Video Modes
Spark helps you create professional-looking areal videos thanks to the following modes:
    • ROCKET: Ascend with the camera pointing downward
    • DRONIE: Fly backward and upward, with the camera locked on your subject
    • CIRCLE: Circle around a given target
    • HELIX: Fly upward, spiraling around your subject
    ActiveTrack Subject Tracking
With ActiveTrack, just tell the Spark who to track and it handles the rest. No GPS bracelets or transmitters are required. The Spark has been trained to detect and recognize a number of common subjects including people, bike riders, vehicles, and even animals. Two settings are offered:
    • TRACE: Track your target from in front or behind, or even circle around it
    • PROFILE: Follow your subject from a fixed perspective
When you tap on your phone's screen, software translates your touch into a heading, including whether you want it to climb or descend. When you want to change direction, just tap somewhere else on your screen and the Spark will smoothly turn to the new destination. Two modes are available:
    • DIRECTION: Keep flying in the direction you tap on screen
    • COORDINATE: Tap the screen and fly to that spot while maintaining altitude
    Sport Mode
Sport Mode was designed for fun, giving the Spark a top speed of 31 mph, all the while ramping up agility and responsiveness, to give you a taste of drone racing. You can also use it to film something fast, or zip out to catch a shot before the moment passes. Even in Sport Mode, the Spark will rapidly come to a stop if you let go of the controls.
Spark's FlightAutonomy System features a main camera, vision positioning system (VPS), 3D object sensing, GPS, a high-precision IMU, and a 24-core controller. Together these allow Spark to hover accurately anywhere with VPS assistance at up to 98', sense obstacles from up to 15' away, and land safely.
    Return to Home
Where GPS is available, the Spark it able to return to its takeoff point and land itself. This will happen automatically if the battery gets too low, the controller signal is lost, or you press the RTH (Return to Home) button on the app or controller. Spark is able to sense and maneuver around obstacles as it returns.
    Flight Protection
DJI's GEO system lets you know where drone flights may raise safety or security concerns, such as near airports or stadiums.
Dual Frequency 2.4G and 5.8G Radio
The Spark's remote controller and Wi-Fi work on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz range frequencies. This means the system can take advantage of the less-crowded 5.8 GHz part of the spectrum when the 2.4 GHz range is saturated.

    Built for Speed
Spark features an aerodynamic profile that enables it to soar through the air with minimal wind resistance. Performance and stability are enhanced by keeping the gimbal flush with the aircraft. This enables flying in strong winds and the ability to achieve a top speed or 31 mph in Sport Mode.

    FPV Flight

Using Sport Mode, FPV is enabled by default, so the camera moves with you as you fly. To enhance the immersive experience, Spark can be paired with the separately available DJI Goggles.

    DJI GO Mobile App

    Edit and Share
The DJI GO 4 app features automatic editing templates and an array of filters. Quickly edit videos and share them straight to social media.

    Intelligent Flight Battery

Spark uses a high-energy-density LiPo flight battery for optimal performance. 12 intelligent protection functions help ensure safe flight. Additionally, Spark's battery estimates remaining flight time, letting you know when to land in real time.

Spark Fly More Combo (Sunrise Yellow) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fell From Sky First Flight - Dead on Impact There is a MAJOR, COMMON, FATAL flaw with the spark. It will shut off and drop like a brick. This happened to me on my first flight and has been reported by hundreds of others on the DJI forums. I am not an amateur either. I use drones professionally as a wedding/event videographer and previously flew the Phantom 3 Pro for 2 years professionally. I bought this drone because I wanted something portable and small and HD is good enough for me. Had I known about this widespread major issue about them dropping from the sky I would have spend the extra $300 for the Mavic. Seriously, this isn't even all about money, this is life and death situation and has the potential to cause various other problems such as property damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Personal Camera in the sky. This a very nice product. Quite intuitive to use and produces great footage. I use it as a personal camera in the sky to shoot great imagery when I go dirt biking and mountain biking. It does a remarkable job at tracking me on both my dirt bike (if I'm not riding to fast) and electric mountain bike. The footage I get following me on my rides really shows the landscape and trails in a way that a helmet cam cannot. It also has some great quick shot flight patterns that in very little time and ease produce memorable shots. It also produces really nice landscape stills.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for beginners / mission planning not implementd This can be due to the fact that as of recently this platform is not required for FAA registration (only providing to DJI confirmed e-mail that might be stored on the device): pre-flight waypoint planning is not implemented aka mission planning. If that would be possible you could more efficiently use your limited battery life. Keep in mind that the rated 15min is only without video recording. With recording and cross-winds it will be less, that is why your 'critical battery level' alarm will sound in about 7 minutes to allow for return. Note for users of optional remote that it is recommended in signal congested urban or housing areas: use usb or lightning cable with OTG adapter to your smart phone / tablet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better instructions needed This is my first drone. I am not tech challenged but after opening the box I noticed the instructions were packed into a small packaged that required a microscope to read. Being a man, we don't read instructions, instead dive right in. Bad move. I couldn't even get the thing to light up much less move. OK, Google to the rescue and there are several videos to help but still, the process is daunting. Once I did get airborne it was great fun but short fun. The battery only lasts 15 or so minutes. Too bad a higher capacity battery is not offered, I would buy it. Now after a week, my controller wants an update. That has failed three times and now I need to go back to DJI for a fix. These guys need a good instruction writer unless they are striving for cult status.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lot's of setup issues, even with the replacement unit. I am a seasoned RC flyer who has built DIY quadcopters as well as owned most DJI Phantoms including the P4Pro Plus. Finally, I have just completely setup my second Spark Fly More Combo using an iPhone 7. The first Spark had to be returned as it never allowed gesture control. That was after two hours of online DJI support to fix many confusing setup processes which included refreshing bird and controller firmware. The second Spark had its own challenges and two more hours of online support and the obligatory refresh everything. Even now, the bird needs to be re-bound to the controller occasionally and the bird occasionally needs to refresh WIFI when I use the iPhone only. (These are separate processes.) You will need The DJI Go app on your mobile device, the assistant on your mobile device and the assistant II on a PC/Mac. You will also need to refresh your WIFI connection on your mobile device constantly. Net-net: This is a remarkable drone for those capable and willing to deal with a semi-ready-for-market product. If you are a newbie, you look for a friend to help. If you struggle with technology you might think twice. Also, I recommend that you buy the controller package with two extra batteries. Learn to fly a quadcopter. Finally, DJI online support is A+. Update: I have had to reinstall craft firmware three times in the first week due to issues like 'compass error' with no ability to recalibrate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DJI Spark Fly More Combo I can not say enough good things about the DJI Spark! The quadcopter does everything I want and more! I can not wait to go on vacation this year. I will be the nerd with the camera! There are some ways to make the Fly More Combo better: 1. There should be 4 batteries. 16 minutes per battery is not a lot of flying time. 2. The carrying case should hold everything comfortably. It is kind of tight in mine. The spark is a great buy for anyone looking to get into aerial photography or someone who is looking to take their drone on the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice little drone A buy this combo and love it! Very small, durable and extremely stable! The 1080p is very good and crisp. Will like to have 24p but 30p can do the job done. Very happy of my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent 1st... or 2nd Drone! I've owned the DJI Phantom 3 Pro since it was released, so I'm not new to the DJI drone world. I bought the Spark as a secondary, travel buddy to help document my active and outdoor lifestyle. This is what it's designed for and it does it perfectly. If im flying for photography reasons, I'll go with the Phantom 3, because it offers RAW files. But if i want to shoot a few minutes of video and some snaps of what i'm doing, it's the Spark all the way. It's so easy and fast to setup and get flying. Very easy to control. With the latest (.0600) update, the automated features work as they're supposed to. Flying it is a blast, especially in sport mode. I definitely recommend getting the combo pack with the controller. Makes a world of difference! Long story short, this is a great drone for someone just getting into the hobby... or as a secondary drone for someone who already has a Phantom or Mavic. It's so small you can take it's carry pouch just about anywhere with no trouble. I'm very happy with the Spark to this point.
