Godox V860II Reviews

Love the included rechargeable Battery

Item works as advertise but the best part is the include rechargeable Lithium Battery. No more AA batteries. Since I just got the flash the other day all I can say is the Flash battery lasts a very long time. I haven't had it long enough to drain the battery.

Works great in full auto mode with Sony a7RIII. No issues with full auto interface. Has all the features I could possibly want and more. Excellent light output. Like the rechargeable battery too! Have ruined other flashes in the past due to leaky batteries... no more with rechargeable pack!

Good Disposable Flash

I've had several Godox on camera flashes. There is such a price difference between these and the other brands it seems easier to just buy a new one. Also, my other off-camera flashes are godox so It works with them if I need it to. BUT my main complaint is the foot is cheap plastic. The rest of the flash is fair quality but the plastic foot breaks or causes a bad connection where the flash won't fire consistently because there is too much torque on it when it gets bumped around or just when changing the angle of the flash head. This is the biggest problem. The menus are a little complicated at first also. You eventually get used to it.

100k flashes and going strong

I bought two of these for my wedding photography business five years ago and they are by far the best speedlights I've ever used. They'll last an absurd number of flashes (read full wedding reception) on one battery and the TTL is perfect almost every time. At an amazing price they outperform the other flashes more than 3x the cost. One of the best things you can buy if you need to add some light or shoot anything where the lights are dim.

Stops Working

I have owned this flash before (probably the first version), used it on my Sony a9 no problem until the foot broke (cheap plastic). Reason for buying a new flash was the foot issue. Well I have two Sony cameras and both of them work fine for a short time then it tells me it is not compatible with my camera. Bummer is that I bought it in January and did not need to use it until Wedding season in May. Very disappointed in this flash. Annoying to say the least!

would buy another

Would buy another if we could figure it out, but it stopped firing on manual and we can't figure out how to get it to work on manual, which we need! i-TTL works great but we need it to work on manual.

Excellent flash for the money

Already owning a couple of Godox products, I knew this flash would be a good option to replace my cheap Yongnuo flashes. I currently use it for macro work, but I'll be getting different uses out of it as time goes by. I love that it has a dedicated battery so I don't have to keep up with recharging AAs all the time. You really can't go wrong with Godox!

The flash isn't working

The flash isn't working at all. I purchased this flash specifically for capturing an event happening in 2 days, and to my dismay, when I attempted to test it out, it just didn't work. I must admit, I'm quite disheartened by this unfortunate situation.

The radio system in the Canon 600 is a different sub frequency than that of the Godox. You will have to get a Godox receiver for it to work. If you click on the link below, you can view it on our website; https://bhpho.to/2CZxUig
