Why do I have to compensate for flash exposure ...

Why do I have to compensate for flash exposure (+1...+1.7) when bouncing light off the ceiling in TTL mode? When the flash is aimed directly at the subject, TTL works as expected. Without this compensation the picture will be underexposed and the flash will not show "HI" - so it's not the lack of power. Sony A7C camera.

I note two flash related problems, 1 ISO automatically goes to 6400, I usually set manually to 640 and find in most cases very good, and yes it is necessary to adjust the flash to correct exposure, don't know why either.

will this work with the nikon z 6ii -- mixed answers?
Asked by: Jeffrey
The unit will work on manual exposure. Unfortunately there is no TTL service although the flash is dedicated to Nikon hot shoe. Nikon disable the camera flash control menu for TTL access when you mount flash units outside Nikon brand. (Nikon SB5000, 500, 400 or 300). Also Godox TT350N will received TTL signal if you have a transmitter on the camera hot shoe and the flash off camera, However it is not as reliable as using the camera on Manual mode on the camera hot shoe.

I can't get this flash to communicate with the ...

I can't get this flash to communicate with the X-T30 - I'm using with the Laowa 65mm - all manual mode - shooting without a lens. I can't get the flash to communicate. Help?
Asked by: Theresa
In addition to the other suggestions, I would also suggest ensuring you set the focal length in the menu. The Laowa 65mm doesn't have any contacts to communicate with the camera, so the camera has no focal length to communicate in TTL (if you are using TTL). After you ensure that the camera recognizes the flash is attached based on the other suggestions, have a look at that.

Will the canon version work on a Lumix g85?

Will the canon version work on a Lumix g85?
Asked by: ry
Wiring contacts are not interchangeable between systems. As a consequence as a master the Canon TT350 would only offer TTL on a Canon camera. It could however be used as a slave with any camera with a matched Godox Flash, or wireless trigger that matches the camera on which it is mounted, and would still offer all TTL function as long as the unit attached to the camera is appropriate to that camera brand. I use TT685S, TT685N, and TT685F units all w/my Fuji cameras, and as long as the controller on the camera is a Godox Fuji controller or master flash, I can get it to control the Sony and Nikon units perfectly.

Is this flash TTL compatible with Canon G15 camera?
Asked by: Patrick
It has been compatible with my PowerShot G1X Mark three. I don't think that you would have any problems with the G15 as long as it has five pins on it as the later models do.
