Godox LED500 Bi-Color Reviews

Very pleased!

I bought two of these and they just arrived today. Messing about and I can already tell these will be very versatile. The unit is a nice size, easy to understand and operate. No regrets. The only things I would point out is that these lights do not include a protective/carry case (which surprises me). The other is that the included diffuser screen is semi-clear and the led lights are very visible. I want to use this as a white screen so I will need to acquire separate white diffusion material to suit that purpose. Neither of these issues is a deal breaker, but if either issue matters to you, you will need to factor that in to your decision.

I would add a reflector in addition to this, but for indoor use, it's incredible. I shoot product videos, portrait videos and it works great, gives plenty of light, dims, you can set temperatures between 3300k-5600k and control all of this through the back panel or a remote control.

These lights are great! I love the barn doors. I had an older Godox model around this price range, and this was definitely worth the upgrade. Affordable, too! If you're in need of lights for videos or photos, I recommend these ones.

Currently, there is no fixture specific softbox for this item. I recommend clipping or taping diffusion to the barndoors. Please follow the link below leading you to an example of sheet diffusion. https://bhpho.to/3j05Hvv

What is the tungsten wattage equivalent?
Asked by: Tim
This unit has 1450 LUX at one meter. When LUX measurements are available they are a better option than tungsten equivalent which is a bit more loose of a gauge but this 32w LED is about a 150w tungsten.
