Characterized by its sleek size, the AF 35mm f/2.8 FE Lens from Rokinon is a compact wide-angle prime designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Its versatile wide angle of view is well-suited to general shooting applications and its slim form factor is ideal for travel and everyday photography. The optical design incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and one high refractive index element to suppress spherical aberrations in order to achieve a high degree of sharpness and clarity throughout the aperture range. An Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to control flare and ghosting for increased contrast when working in strong lighting conditions. The lens's autofocus motor works in conjunction with Sony cameras' AF systems for quick and precise focusing performance, and manual focus override is also available for more refined control.

Rokinon 35mm f/2.8 AF Reviews
Excellent lens
I am very satisfied. Images very sharp and very fast focus
A Great Budget Lens!
All around a great lens! It feels a little cheap in the hands with the plastic and the lens hood is a little silly. I wish they would have included a second 49mm cap to use as I never use the hood with its 40.5mm cap/filter threads anyway. Pretty sharp in the center 80-85% of the frame Wide open at 2.8 with some pretty noticeable CA With the heavy green/magenta’s as you go the the edge of the frame. Also has a moderate (on the heavy side of moderate but not unmanageable) amount of Vignette in general (Light room does fairly well with the lens correction on this one) Would have loved to see a weather gasket on this one. I see a lot of people having problems with theirs over time but mine seems to be holding out nicely considering it’s been my “daily beater/wont cry if I drop it” lens! 10 out of 10 times would buy again for this price point!
Genius Lens
For the money, this lens can't be beat. I'm using it for street shots and it hasn't disappointed. B&H had it on sale, which was bonus round points. Sweet little case as well, which hasn't always come with some of my other primes
Excelent for street photography
Excelent for money!
Light-weight lens that provides great quality for the price
Obviously this lens isn't going to beat a competitor for $2k, but for less than CAD$400 this lens provides high value for the money. The auto-focus is decently fast, pretty quite and accurate. In my experience there's been very little hunting if at all. It's also very sharp and consistent across the frame... again, it's not going to beat a GMaster for sharpness, but it's very solid. I bought this lens to have something small and light to walk around the city with and take quick shots here and there - and it's perfect for that. But I've also used it for everything from landscape to portraits and it performed well. Below I've attached a crop of a wider shot that will hopefully show up at 100% scale and you can see the details in the water, the trees, etc.
Great little lens
I'm using this lens with an A7 iii and it's been great. I love the size. The focus is responsive and silent. Glad I took a chance on it.
Love this lens - awesome clarity, beautiful bokeh
Using this for a close-up webcam view on live streams, on our Sony a6000. Really captures beautiful light and clarity, very flattering lens for faces, and lovely natural bokeh. Love it, especially for the price
A Pleasent Surprise
I purchased this lens as a small alternative to my other zooms and primes. What I got was a lens that I've used extensively for both personal and professional projects. Small, lightweight, and very capable of delivering excellent images consistently. Is it perfect? No. However, If you want a great performing lens that will stand up to the scrutiny of large 11x17 prints, take a look at this one.
