Does it work well with a connection from a usb-c ...

Does it work well with a connection from a usb-c hdmi adapter (mac book pro) to a video projector? I read that it could have some issue if the hdmi signal is converted between the 2 devices. A copyright information send by the macbook in the hdmi signal to block the transmission(EDID pass-thru - passes the EDID / HDCP)
Asked by: Mario
This product does maintain HDCP and EDID. It should work for your needs, however with any product like this you will need to test it out to see the results.

Will this device work with fiber optic HDMI ...

Will this device work with fiber optic HDMI cable? I need to use fiber in order to protect a camera from surges, but it doesn't work with our Gefen HDMI-over-Ethernet boxes. I would like to put this box in between, with fiber HDMI cable from the camera to this, and regular HDMI cable from this to the Gefen transmitter.
Asked by: Paul
HDMI 2.0 Repeater does not work with fiber optic HDMI cable.
