    Vanguard 265AB reviews

VEO 2 265AB Aluminum Tripod with Ball Head (Gray, 4.9') is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible ball head Vanguard VEO 2 265AB. I really like the legs of this tripod, its very sturdy and lightweight. The big problem here is the ball head, even when everything is full tight , it is very loose. I have a Nikon D750 with 16 35 lens, only 1/8 of the weight it can hold. I added a Mefoto Backpacker ball head replacing the Vanguard. One more thing about Vanguard ball head, the pano screw is very unconfortable, when you shot vertical the camera is very close to it, making it hard to move your fingers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont buy Vangurd VEO 2 265AB. I really wanted to like this tripod. Is super light weight and sturdy enough. It has 2 very critical problems: - Ball head. The ballhead has a very bad design. The pano screw is very unconfortable, when you shoot vertical the camera is very close to the screw, so yours fingers cant reach it. - Clean. This is the MAJOR PROBLEM to me. You cant disassamble the twist leg locks to clean it. This is talking much about the tripod, is not for professionals. I only used it once, on the beach, now it is full of sand inside and two legs are blocked. I can hear the sand moving inside. Contacted to Vanguard and they told me I just cant disassamble the legs, not possible. I have to take it with them to repair it. As I told before, has only 1 use! Im very disappointed with the brand. This is my first time trying Vanguard (already had manfrotto, mefoto and benro) and this buy was by far the worse.
