question
If you buy the set with two cameras now, can you add additional cameras later?
Yes you can and it's easy to add cameras to the app. If you are putting cameras outside you better keep them close to the house/Wi-Fi signal. I purchased a range extender and added two 8dbi antenna and placed the camera about 80 feet from the range extender in the house. It connects ok (just takes little longer sometimes) unless humidity outside is greater than 55%. Once humidity is over that forget it, it won't connect at all. I'm actually going to replace it with a wired camera because it's been useless most of the summer. I'll put the wireless at the front door.

question
Can you speak to an intruder or does it just it just record audio?
Hi Jeff, this camera records and streams audio out to your mobile, but the camera doesn't have a speaker; so no you cannot speak to an intruder or anyone through the camera.
