These cute little binos made my grandkids happy, but only one of them worked. You can see nothing but blur out of the defective pair, and the focussing mechanism does nothing either. This is esp. disappointinb, because I paid for shipping and now have to pay to return item, which only cost $15 to begin with.

I have now tried about 8 different pairs of children's binoculars in the past few weeks. I learned that 6X is about as strong as you can go for kids (8X is too powerful to hold steady). These are simply thee very best at 6 power. Well made, smooth operating, solid, and good clear glass.

not good for younger children

i bought this for my 4 year old, he destroyed one of the view lenses in one day. better off getting a cheap binocular from vivitar or carson, that will probably last longer
