What is the main reason I would purchase the 6D over the 77D?The features look similar.
Asked by: Chad
The 6D is a full frame sensor. the larger the sensor the more information it can capture. So, detail retention, printability, color range, dynamic range, low light performance would all be better on the 6D Mark II.

I photograph flowers and landscapes, and just ...

I photograph flowers and landscapes, and just recently starting photographing birds. I originally was looking at the EOS T8i, then I read about 6D Mark II. I had to save up for a new camera, so this will be my last purchase for a while. Has anyone had these 2 cameras? Sharpness is very important to me. I have 3 L lenses. Are the lenses more important than what type of camera you have? I know there are a lot of experts out there and want to get which ever camera will give me the sharpest pictures. Any advice would be appreciated.
Asked by: Marilyn
The 6d II is by no means a bad camera, but if i were to go back i would not purchase it again. I read about the chromatic aberration in many reviews but thought it would be ok. Turns out it's very annoying and happens way more often than other cameras i have. If it's the last purchase you will make for some time than i wouldn't buy this one. But definitely invest in a full frame camera! If pricing is an issue i would honestly recommend buying the original 6d. I still have it and use it frequently. But if you have money to spend but the 5d IV. It's worth it and will last a very long time.
