Will the HFR or RAW upgrade still stay in the ...
Will the HFR or RAW upgrade still stay in the camera after an initialization, reset or firmware update? Am concerned if we had to reset the camera in the field and cant get back the HFR/RAW packages.
1. The RAW/HFR upgrade It is not affected by firmware updates.
2. You should avoid doing a factory reset at all costs because that will wipe out the firmware upgrades.
Because you have to register the Firmware with the Serial number of the camcorder it is possible to reinstall the firmware if you run into a scenario where you must do a factory reset however we strongly recommend that you contact Sony Technical Support before doing so to make sure they can assist you when it comes to reinstalling the firmware.

B&H sold this to me to to be able to record 4K ...
B&H sold this to me to to be able to record 4K with the Sony FS5 I am questioning if I need this or if the PXW raw upgrade license would have been enough?
They are different licenses.

Does this upgrade for the Sony FS5 (firmware version 4.0), once it is installed, allow recording at 120FPS in 1080P from the HDMI, -or- the SDI outputs to the recorder (like the Atoms Ninja Inferno)? In other words, is the hi frame rate output available form both terminals (HDMI/SDI) or only one, and if so, which one?
HFR is internal recording only.

will one liscene work with multiple sony fs5 by the same owner?
It will not , we tried ..on our two fs5's. When you go to plug the camera into the computer it registers a unique camera id which you enter to get the serial code for the firmware update.
