Well made The yellow padding is thicker than the original black one. Confortable.
I have been using the finger foam option for as long as I've owned the 1510 case, which is coming up on 12 years. As time passed, the foam would come loose and get caught on jagged edges of my gear - turning what once was a nicely kept pelican case in to an unkempt a foam party. I've bought the finger foam several times over as camera/gear changed over that time period. The yellow divider literally unlocked not just more space but an easy way to locate my all-black gear (cables, bolts, etc), more protection for my stuff, and can be used with any future cameras I upgrade to. The walls are nice and thick and the adjustable sections are awesome. I would tell anyone to just buy this and bail on any foam option.
Perfect padding for customizing the layouts the yellow helps the gear pop when looking from a far.
I use this to transport a GH4, Mavic 2 Pro with batteries and a remote, plus a slider. It works very well and is easy to reconfigure. I hate pull-apart foam. It limits your ability to reconfigure and generally makes a mess in your work station. Although it does keep your gear from shifting during transport so...meh...I still prefer this divider set and would recommend it 10/10.
It beats the foam inserts mainly because over time the foam begins to break down and create a foam dust.
I have cases I need to re-configure for different jobs and I love these yellow padded inserts. Makes seeing stuff inside easy. So far no issues. Gear has been well protected.
This works much better than the foam that came with the case. Would not waste time & money on foam inserts in the future. Holds 2 bodies, 4 lenses (including a 100-400mm) a lens extender, filter case, and cleaning kit with a minor configuration change.
It's worth every penny. I dealt with foam inserts for years and this is so much better.
