BenQ DGD5 Reviews
Finally glasses that work
After trying many of the cheap brands, I finally found one that works for my BenQ projector. Don't be cheap, buy the real deal.
Seamless and effective
The glasses are comfortable, large enough to fill the field of view (even on a very large screen), and function flawlessly. I've enjoyed viewing 3D video with these glasses paired with my BenQ 2050A projector. They dim the image, as all 3D glasses must, but the image is still vibrant and clear.
Received an open box item.
I ordered two pairs of these glasses they're are both in good shape and function properly, however I'm a little upset that one of the pairs I received was an open box item when I paid full price and it was not advertised as an open box item. Overall I'm very happy with the product but the service was a little lacking.
nice product
Very nice product
Nice Improvement
I had the original version of these glasses, and while they worked fine, I found the 3D image wasn't quite as nice as that produced from the ZD302 glasses from Optima (which, sadly, are no longer produced). This version 2.0 is a very nice upgrade from the originals, producing an excellent 3D image. The frames are comfortable and fit over my eyeglasses without issue. The lenses are large enough to sufficiently cover my field of vision. My only complaint is that you can't switch polarity on these lenses. You have to go into the projector settings should that be required.
Great
Better contrast and sync than the cheap knock offs worth every penny.
Lighter and less expensive
Wound up purchasing both this style and the Panasonic product as B&H was out of stock on these for a while. While they both do an excellent job of providing 3D imaging, these are noticeably lighter. The heavier glasses create more stress over the course of a movie or two. These have a shorter battery life, but 30 hrs. appears more than adequate.
Best 3D DLP-Link glasses you can get.
I have spent too much money on active 3D glasses over the years. I've had everything from Samsung, Panasonic, Sony etc. all had their strengths and weakness. Lens distortions were frequent and refractions were very common. I recently bought Boblov 3D DLP glasses and immediately sent them back. A bit jaded, I took a chance with these glasses hoping for a miracle and my risk was greatly rewarded! Perfect! Distortion free glasses with perfect clarity. The lenses fully resolve at 144hz without crosstalk or ghosting and zero refractions. Solid black levels and image uniformity. Save the time, money and disappointment. 3D DLP perfection!
