Whether in a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configuration, your HDMI or SDI signal is carried with a low latency rate of less than 1 ms over the license-free 5 GHz frequency band. A minimum distance of 492' (150 m) is ensured, while the maximum distance is 985' line-of-sight. (The kit has even been successfully tested at much longer distances in open spaces.) The set is also capable of HDMI/SDI cross conversion, so you can input a signal via HDMI and output through SDI, or vice versa.

Small obstacles in the line of sight are compensated for by an adaptive signal logarithm, keeping your signal connected. For safety, signals dropped due to interference or loss of line of sight are automatically relinked within 1 ms of the obstacle being removed — auto-relink and improved hardware for a more stable connection are the new features in the V2 version. Other features of the set include AES-128 signal encryption and plug-and-play installation.

zero latency, but the signal it's awful, even when we are in the same room, the signal drops all the time, so annoying, clients hate it..... we've tried swapping the antennas for mushroom antennas, but no luck.... so much money for nothing

So Much Is Promised

We wanted this to work as advertised, we needed it to work as advertised. But it sits in its case. Used it on a stationary camera, about 120' clear line of sight, and it had significant pixelation when the lens was zoomed. Cinegears said it was not intended for movement (which includes zooming). We tried it again at less than 40', and had constant audio and video dropout. We tried it again at about 70' with same result. Now we're offering it free to a good home. Best use is a paperweight.

We've used the Cinegears 150M V2 several times, each time with unsatisfactory results. Our experience tracks what other reviewers mention - with a lot of people in the room (and not blocking the line of sight between the receiver and transmitter), we had a lot of pixelation. Any image movement (panning, zooming, movement within the frame) resulted in pixilation. We high (25') mounted it within a venue to have a roaming camera on the floor. We oriented the antennas relative to the overhead unit, but at under 35', we had a tremendous amount of pixilation, frequent loss of audio and frequent loss of all signal. We had to stop using the feed. Cinegears told us the unit was for stationary situations, where there was not movement between the transmitter and receiver, such as for director's monitors. I cannot imagine anyone with a movie production budget that includes a wireless director's monitor would scrimp and by this product.

wait did you want to power this.

What a true joke changing 105.00 to use ac power and for some people who would rather use this than run long cables. What a rip off to sell these for 105.00 and some people would need 2 of these. And to run these with sony batteries they better be new batteries. Maybe cinegears will see this and sell them for 1/3 the cost. Think about !!!

Lots of Drop Connections

Works beautifully until people start filling in the room.  I always put the receiver on top of a 6.5 foot stand to keep it as high above the crowd as possible.  Does not seem to matter.  It finally got so bad tonight that I pulled it and ran a long HDMI cable to the camera.  This is very annoying because I have an older version of the same model that is as solid as a rock.  Never looses connection.  Wish they still made the v1.  I dont know if it is cell phone interference or what but it does not matter what channel I put it on, the signal cuts out and the receiver must be rebooted to connect again.  This is really annoying for something this expensive.  Not really worth the money.

We Love Ghost-Eye!! And our clients do too!  Just got a text from our customer on set, he is a sound audio mixer and has 2 feeds from video village to his sound cart (A & B Cam).   He said “I will never do another show without the Ghost Eye!!” We have been using the 150M kits for over a year and have had excellent results on TV shows and movie sets. CineGears support has always been fast and easy to work with if you have questions. We just ordered 2 new Ghost-Eye300M kits from B&H and are excited to get them in the field. Why you ask?? Because our 150M kits are out working and we need more kits for a job! Thanks B&H and CineGears!!

Excellent Workhorse Wireless Video/Audio

I've used many different wireless systems, from ultra-cheap Amazon garbage to top-of-the-line studio systems. Ghost-Eye is hands down the best bang for the buck-- I would take these over Paralinx, over Teradek, any day-- It turns on and works, you wouldn't think that would be so hard, and for Ghost-Eye, it's not. I'm going to buy 2 more of these. It makes my life easier and it saves me time. 10 stars--
