This orange 908 Hard Utility Case from Nanuk is made from dust, crush, waterproof, and lightweight NK-7 polypropylene resin. It protects and stores delicate small- and medium-sized items like photo/video gear, batteries, lenses, flash drives, hard drives, microphone systems, pistols, fishing gear, binoculars, scopes, medical devices, instrumentation, industrial tools and other personal or professional equipment. This version of the 905 is offered with a multilayer cubed foam insert within the 9.5 x 7.5 x 7.5" interior that you can quickly customize to your specific needs or gear. The insert includes a convoluted eggcrate foam lid insert and a solid base layer for the bottom.
Its molded-in bezel and gasket are held fast with the PowerClaw latching system. This patented latch uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut to a waterproof and dustproof IP67 rating, with an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, there are two 0.34" padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. The case features a built-in pressure relief valve that regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. Further design features include an integrated lid stay that prevents the lid from closing on your hand, rustproof and strong stainless steel hardware, and a foldable soft-grip handle at the top.
