Works exactly like it should! Charges two v-mounts simultaneously in a decent amount of time! I have used other name brand chargers and personally don’t see the reason to pay more unless you need a fleet charger.

purchased a to find out it isn't compatible with IDX V mount nor is it compatible with Sony. I think they should specify this in the product description.

Is this compatible with IDX v mount batteries?
It works with some IDX brand batteries and not with others. Some of their batteries require a signal of some sort to allow charging.
This charger works great with our non-IDX brand batteries though, so we just keep it for them.
