Yongnuo YN360 II Bi-Color Reviews

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Please I am warning you, do not buy this product. I regret spending so much money on this light wand that just stopped working right after my 1 year warranty expired. Does not take charge. No light to show it is charging. A total lemon. Reached out to the manufacturer who told me to reach out to B&H, to then realize that is comes with a 1 year warranty from B&H expired on March 13th 2022 and today is April 25th.

Love it so far. It gets very bright and the color range is incredible. Holds a pretty long charge too, and can be used while plugged in. Must have if your looking for lights to add to your videography equipment.

Good alternative

For what it's create for, it works fine. It's a little non-responsive and the directions (after translation) are a little buggy but once you get used to it, it's fine. Price is better than the name brand too !

Pretty Good but can't unsynch.

The lights are pretty good for the price and the daylight option is SERIOUSLY bright. Two issues so far. One is that the lights seem to be synched. I have two. And controlling one with the built in controls will actually control the other one as well. This is a cool feature IF you want the same color and intensity from both. But if you want two.different colors, I have no idea how you could do that. The other thing is the APP that works with it doesn't seem as if it was made with these lights in mind. Seems like someone just wrote an app that would control these. So I've yet to try the app. But from what I read, the app will also give all lights the same color and intensity. It would be cool if you could set multiple lights independently.

I purchased 2 at once

All what i used to have is just a warm, cool light. This is literally a game changer for me photography, videography. I was about to purchase the “Colorspike” but it costs $450, to get two i have to pay literally $900 plus international shipping will be more than $1000. To moneywise, I decided to purchases two of these since they cost by far less. And I am not regretting this at all, i thought one light can do the job But honestly two is a minimum. I still plan to purchase the colorspike, but just one. So i will have two of these plus the colorspike that would be all i need. Anyway this is so helpful you should get it

Limited RGB power

This led light is nice as a portable white or warm light, but unfortunately, only uses 40 RGB leds that lets you change the color, which is a limited power lighting output only useful on interior places while the white or warm option emites more power because has more individual LED lights. I have to say that find the specific color that you're looking for is complicated, the color's switch system is not the best and the light wand lacks, for example, of light modes that maybe let you be more creative using it.

Design flaw that I could not .

If you want to run continuous power the power Port is located on top of the unit. So if it's on a light stand power cord pulls the unit over. Why isn't it in the handle??

question

Is there a barn door option for this light?
Asked by: Kellie
Unfortunately, I see no barndoors listed as an available accessory for use with the Yongnuo YN360 II LED Light Wand. However, if you wish, you may make temporary options using the Rosco Matte Black Cinefoil (12 x 50') B&H # ROCF1250B, and gaffers tape such as the ProTapes Pro Gaffer Tape (2 x 30 yd, Black), B&H # PRGT30B.

How do I connect to the bluetooth? I do not see the device listed in my phone's list of available devices? Is the bluetooth always turned on or is there something I need to do to enter into pairing mode?
Asked by: Ancil Ray
You will need to download the Yongnuo App on your phone. Once the app opens it will request permission to join your Bluetooth and camera. Please select yes for both options. Turn the light switch up and the connection will be automatic. Please make sure your app is selecting CH 1 if you only have one Yongnuo Wand.

Does anyone know how to change channels or unpair the lights? I have two and cannot seems to figure out how to adjust them independently because they are both on channel one. Changing values of one light changes the other light wirelessly as well.
Asked by: Brad
The lights need to be on their own channel in order to control them independently. This process can be set up in the app.
