Featuring 5 mm thin bezels, the Aero 15 provides you with more screen real estate without a larger chassis for a more immersive viewing experience. Moreover, the display has a X-Rite Pantone display color certification, ensuring that you have vivid and accurate colors.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series Graphics Cards
NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards can deliver up to a 40% increase in performance over the previous generation. Not only are they powerful, they can deliver similar performance to their desktop counterparts with a slight performance difference. This changes mobile gaming, allowing you to max out your game's visuals settings so you can enjoy it at its best. Furthermore, 10-series graphics cards are VR ready so plug in your favorite headset for a new computing experience.
Supra Cool
The Aero 15 is equipped with a dual fan and heat pipe system that efficiently removes heat from the CPU and GPU to maintain temperatures, so you can game with optimal performance.
Thunderbolt 3
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
Triple Display Setup

Windows 10

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana, can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the Internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information-gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

    Gigabyte 15W-OG4 reviews

15.6" Aero 15 Notebook (Orange) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good I bought this laptop two weeks ago to replace my noisy GS60 (GTX 970M). I'm a professional programmer and an amateur gamer and content creator, looking for a portable powerhouse. Pros - The thin bezel looks nice and makes the overall size much smaller than GS60, which also has a 15.6 screen. - Quiet under normal use. Much better than GS60. Also has utilities to tune the fan profile. - Battery life is good. Maybe 8 hours for web browsing. - The IPS screen looks good enough for content creating, and Full HD is as far as Windows can go for this screen size (Windows 10 14393 still looks terrible when scaled). - The included Pantone ICC profile seems accurately calibrated. Don't forget to back it up before reinstallation of Windows! - Has a secondary M.2 slot. I installed a PM961 there. - Robustly built. Cons - The keyboard doesn't do rollover well. As of 06/24/2017 the latest firmware is 1.18 (updated in Fusion), and the Ctrl + Shift issue is fixed, but Ctrl + Alt + X and Shift + Alt + X still don't work on mine. Ghosting is also pervasive when I add more keys. - Came with a SATA SSD (Transcend MTS800). Honestly, I found no perceivable difference in booting and loading between any of my NVMe or SATA, MLC or TLC SSDs (namely, PM961, BPX, Extreme Pro, and Force LE). Nevertheless, as an NVMe SSD is included in some review samples, the SSD choice can create some confusion. This product also seems to be prosumer oriented, and as a programmer and a content creator, I do find NVMe useful sometimes. - The utilities (Smart Update, Fusion, etc) sometimes run into uncaught exceptions and quit. - Noisy just like GS60 under heavy load, which is expected for the power packed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great machine Context: My old Alienware 17 (i7-4770MQ, GTX 765M) was stolen and so I was looking for a new laptop to be my performance machine. I didn't want, this time, anything as big nor as heavy as the Alienware, but I did want a quad-core processor and a GTX 1050/1060. Thunderbolt 3 would be a plus. At first I decided to buy the XPS 15, but I needed the device to ship quickly and from previous experience, I knew I couldn't rely on Dell on that subject. I also read too many reviews where people would say they were on their Nth machine because (N-1) machines had QA problems. So when I came across the Aero 15, the XPS-like form factor + a GTX 1060 made it a no-brainer for me. Review: (Appearance:) I like the appearance of this machine more than I thought I would from the pictures. It is, in my opinion, prettier than what you see online. (Keyboard:) The individually RGB backlit keys are a nice touch, but there are no function keys for controlling its brightness, you have to do that in the software. I also miss having media buttons on the keyboard (previous, next and play/pause) -- you _can_ reprogram keys to do just that, though. The force needed to activate the keys is a bit bigger than what I expected, but it is something you get used to quickly. There is an issue where the keyboard won't detect some strokes (like Ctrl+Shift+N), but that is easily solved through a firmware upgrade. (Display:) The 60Hz display looks great and is accurate enough for anything that I'll do with my machine. There is some light bleed on my unit on the bottom corners, but it isn't really noticeable unless when the screen is black (mostly when booting). I do think, however, that it is an unit issue. This laptop comes with light intensity sensors, so it can automatically adjust screen brightness -- its a nice touch. (Performance:) Performance-wise this machine is a beast. The i7-7700HQ and GTX 1060 combo is great for pretty much anything you'd want to do. It can run any game you can think of with acceptable framerates. The ones I play (CS:GO, Overwatch, LoL and HotS) run on near maxed out settings with 60+ FPS. This laptop also has Thunderbolt 3, so you can connect external GPUs if you so wish. I read some complaints regarding drive speeds, but coming from pure HDD setups, I feel more than happy with its performance. I can get from 'off' to Chrome in about 13 seconds. (Sound:) The speaker is not amazing. It gets the job done for when you're not in the mood for headphones, but don't expect to get much bass from it. I use earbuds all the time, so it isn't too much of an issue for me, but keep that in mind. Also, when gaming/doing heavy number crunching, the fan gets loud, which is a good thing, but paired with the not so amazing speakers, you'll want to be gaming with your headphones on. (Battery Life:) Another factor that made me choose this machine is its battery. It is a 94 Wh one and so it lasts for quite a while on light usage (web/streaming). When playing reasonably light games, it lasted for less than 2 hours, but when doing assignments on virtual machines on the go, on airplane mode, 20% got me 3 hours or so. If you're doing really light tasks, you can turn the coolers to Quiet mode and the battery may get you even further. (Miscellaneous:) The laptop comes with pre-installed software which may be really useless (like PowerDVD on a CD drive-less laptop), but it is easily uninstalled. The web cam has that awkward upwards angle, but it comes with the bezel-less territory. I haven't tested the microphone so far, because I usually use headsets. I like the one finger openable hinge, but I'd appreciate if it was a little bit stiffer. Overall, it is a great laptop and I am very happy with my acquisition. I'd 10/10 recommend it even though -- like any product -- it has drawbacks. TL;DR: The machine is great and I'd recommend it, even though the fan gets a bit loud and the speakers aren't amazing (not too loud and lack bass). Its performance, display and form factor make up for any drawbacks I found, in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Powerhouse PC for a decent price TL:DR: The AERO 15 laptop is very good powerhouse on the go PC. its rocking a GTX 1060 6GB and a nice i7 7700 CPU , the price is a little steepish and the bloatware is ok, but its a very good package for someone who is not looking to drop 2000$+ on an alienware , razer, msi , or a macbook pro. Do yourself a favor and do a fresh install of windows to clear out unnecessary bloatware and the use the Disk Utility disc included to install back some of the more useful programs. Pro: -Very good battery life -Nice RGB lighting on the keyboard. -Very nice Screen with an almost Bezeless display. -Slim Form factor( it is indeed very slim) -nice overall design( mine was a black model not the orange or lime green). -Can tinker with fan speeds , CPU temps , and other cool features through the Smart Manager. - Cons: -Price is a little steep for some -Fans can kick up to high speeds when gaming (there is software installed to help with tinker with fan speeds and CPU temps ) but this is to be expected for a laptop of this form factor. -Body is plastic , but is a very nice and sturdy plastic. -the touch pad could be improved through some updates( come on gigabyte!) as it can stutter sometimes. -Speakers are OK

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic laptop for work and play I've been using the Aero 15 for almost two months now, and I love it. It's got a great design; it feels sturdy (more than in the pictures), yet slim and light. It actually takes less space than any other 15'' computer I've used, thanks to the thin bezels. The bright, huge screen looks fantastic, and the color fidelity tech actually makes a difference--especially when streaming movies and TV (reds and warm colors particularly pop). At times I notice some slight variances in brightness at the bottom edge of the screen, particularly when displaying black or white; a minor flaw, but worth mentioning. The keyboard feels great; the keys give just a little bit of resistance--a faint click--that makes the writing flow become especially easy and satisfying (I write a lot for work). The customizable backlit colors add a touch of quirkiness, but I rarely turn them on. The trackpad works well. The laptop remains cool and quiet when working, and I have never been bothered by its heat or noise while playing games. The battery life truly stands out; when I'm working I do not need to carry the charger around, because the battery easily lasts for more than 8 hours. The bottom right status lights become a battery indicator when the laptop is turned off--a neat detail. As a gaming laptop, the Aero 15 has served me well. I have played only few games in the last couple of months, some of which did not even seem particularly demanding (Shadows of Mordor, Life is Strange, Deus Ex HR); but I have had no problem running them all at maximum settings--smooth booting, short loading times, and no lagging at all. As a working laptop, the Aero 15 has impressed me. It looks elegant and professional, the battery life lasts for a long time, and the keyboard suits intense writing. Moreover, since the dedicated graphic card can be turned be turned off from the UEFI, I have easily installed Ubuntu as my second OS. All in all, I've been extremely happy with this purchase. I highly recommend the Aero 15.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best laptop ever I wanted a powerful and fast laptop for college with long lasting battery . I started searching but most of the laptops like that are big and heavy, when I order the aero 15 i was surprise. Powerful thin and light laptop with long battery life ( up to 7+ hours of use)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, well built, fast, beautiful and lightweight I had a msi stealth pro 17 laptop for a couple months and loved it but it had a lot of quirks that added up fast. It was fast and did what I wanted well but the experience of using the laptop wasn't that great. Unfortunately that laptop was stolen so I got this as a replacement. I LOVE IT! It feels like a solid high quality product through and through. The screen is a joy to look at. Somehow the pixels look softer/rounder than others screens I have used before. The keyboard is nice to use with its firmer response from the keys as well as the rgb backlighting is fun. Also the laptop is lightweight to lug around in a backpack even when carrying its charger. POWER! The battery lasts forever which is a breath of fresh air over the msi I had before. I have played some Borderlands 2 online on full settings with no herkyjerky weirdness or slowing down. It got warm playing but not HOT like the metal msi did. I have only used this laptop for gaming so far but I will be using it heavily for running Finite Element Analysis in CATIA soon. The msi I had had similar specs as this guy and housed some CATIA so no worries for the Aero 15. Overall the laptop hasn't had a hiccup yet. Startups are fast, no bloatware from gigabyte to annoy you, and the smart manager app, that controls all the hardware of the pc, is lightweight and easy to use. So all the thumbs up for this laptop! I hope it lasts me a very long time. Make the investment and get this do-everything laptop.
