Levenhuk SkyMatic overview

  • 1Description

Suitable for viewing the rings of Saturn, craters of the moon, asteroids and comets, and distant nebulae and galaxies, the SkyMatic 135 130mm f/5 Alt-Azimuth Reflector GoTo Telescope from Levenhuk is a complete platform for planetary and deep space observation. The combination of large aperture and shorter focal length translates to a fast f/5 focal ratio, making this telescope ideal for wide-field astrophotography or detailed lunar images. The AZ 114 GT SynScan computer-guided mount takes you directly to any of the more than 42,000 celestial objects in its database, saving you time spent searching so you can do more observing and photography.

The telescope's optical elements are fully multi-coated to combat reflection and ensure optimal light transmission along the optical path for a sharp, clear image. Achromatic eyepieces with 25mm and 10mm focal lengths are included.

Aligning the AZ 114 GT SynScan computer-guided GoTo mount is easy, using either the brightest-star or two-star methods. In addition to the GoTo mechanism, the telescope is equipped with a 6x30 optical finderscope to locate objects by sight. The telescope and mount sit atop a stainless steel tripod with a height range of 25-43" and a handy tray for holding eyepieces, filters, flashlight, etc.
