I have RX 4 Advanced. This this an upgrade for the included plugins? How improved is the noise reduction algorithm. Could we have some technical details please?
You would need to get the Upgrade from RX 1-6 Advanced. We don't have additional information on the
noise reduction algorithm. That is something you would have to call iZotope about.

Can this be used to remove vocals from music ...
Can this be used to remove vocals from music recordings? If not, or if it is not the ideal, what software can be recommended to remove vocals from a music CD or a MP3 recording. A lot of the time I want to focus on the music without the vocals getting in the way.
RX Elements does not sport the vocal remover feature. However the RX7 Standard does (they call this feature "Music Rebalance").

Will this work as a plug-in for Edius 8 Pro and I ...
Will this work as a plug-in for Edius 8 Pro and I see two plug-in available in the software VST and DirectX. Which I should I choose for Edius 8?
When I use it as a plug in with a Pro Tools, I get a weird phasing effect. If I need to get rid of clipping I just export a wave from PT and than load the wave into Izotope and let the software determine the adjustments and then it gives you a light, medium or heavy version to export. I go with light and it does a pretty good job. Still what you do you expect for 30 bucks?

Yes, Sony Vegas Pro does support VST audio plugins, so you will be able to use RX elements with it.
