    Samsung SM-N950U reviews

Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950U 64GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Orchid Gray) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Amazing Extremely happy with my Note 8. I liked it so much I bought 2. Samsung did include a few nice gifts that I'm very happy with. A few words of caution though: Don't even open the box without having a screen protector and something to protect the back of it. I had mine out for just a few days unprotected and the rear glass scratched significantly on all 4 corners and the plastic around the camera cluster from only laying it on my Formica top night stand. Also the metal bezal was dinged from a minor drop in my vehicle. So in my opinion it is a delicate device. All in all it is an amazing device and I highly recommend it. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Smartphone of 2018 Only 4 stars because I expect all features I want for 2018. 5 Stars would require a perfect score. Honestly, it deserves 4.5. Those features include: -- Battery size isn't that great -- Waterproof, not water resistant -- Bixby button not customizable... (I get it, but come on) -- The headphones don't fit! They are too big. Other than the above-mentioned reasons, the phone is so great. Definitely is the best flagship phone available. I have no buyers remorse. Performance: 9.9 (some hitches) Features: 9.9 (see missing features above) Battery: 8 (should be bigger for phone size) Display: 10 Camera: 10 (looks amazing)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Note legacy is on... I had the Note7 and even though I didnt have an issue with it I had to return it (but I was able to cover a trip to cambodia where video & photos still wow my friends) thats the past . Yesterday I received with a WEEK in advance the note 8. totally xtmas came earlier since Im going in a trip to India & Planning to do the same. Ive been playing with the features & its just impressive: Super fast, LOVE the versatility of the pen that its getting better with every model. too much to say in few lines, but if you are familiar with the Note family, you wont be disappointed at all, Now playing with the two apps at the same time in a split screen, simplifies your time it doesnt matter if its for business or just browsing the net.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Potentially great phone Love the S Pen and S pen features which is the only reason I purchased this phone, however I'm disappointed about a few things. - Poor battery life and screen on time. The battery life simply sucks! - S Note was pretty good but this has been replaced with a relatively useless Samsung Notes that lacks all the features of S Note. Bring back S Note in all it's glory and delete this worthless Samsung Notes. - Features in Note 4 are missing in the Note 8. On the Note 4 you can draw a message and text it (this worked differently than Live messages and is more functional)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not Perfect Phone feels really solid with some weight to it. Its longer and slimmer than i would like from a note simply because the old design had a better writing feel to it. You REALLY need a case for it because its slippery and feel like it will slip out your hands because there is no grip anywhere. The pen is also slimmer...something else i dont like because you went from writing with a Popsicle stick to a toothpick. The battery life seems to last a decent amount of time, i dont have to charge it 5 times a day. Bixby is not good. 1 min it can hear you...next min it cant..but its a good thing that wasnt a reason i bought it. It really is a learning curve coming from a note 4 but thats fine with me . I think the phone is a solid 4. bluetooth connects really well...There is a lot more i need to play with it but so far...happy with this phone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Phone, Just Not The Price. Let's start with the good. The note 8 is an amazing phone in terms of design and performance that leaves little to be desired elsewhere. The display is vibrant and big and it is feature packed to the max. A few things do lack still though. The batter life is kinda bad especially after coming from an s7 edge. Also the fingerprint sensor is still not in the best spot. I'm 6 feet and 3 inches tall so I have fairly large hands, I'm able to reach it just fine but I know my shorter friends struggle. The display was also a slight miss for me as it doesn't have the best daylight visibility, it seemed like my s7 edge was a bit brighter outdoors. The true downside to this phone and why I wouldn't recommend it is that it's super expensive. After owning it for a few weeks I tell all my friends don't get it and just get an s8+. It has nearly the same features (- SPen), a bigger battery, and also a cheaper price tag. I can say though if you are a note enthusiast like myself go for the note 8, you will not be disappointed if you are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Note device I have been impressed with this device so much in the two months I owned it. When I ever need to do something for work/school I complete it easily with my phone before I need to get to my pc. It is expensive and a delicate device so I advise people to go ahead and buy a case and screen protector. Since I do not like cases, I am very careful with my phone so it doesn't get damaged and I have done a good job so far but I know that I will damage it since it is an inevitable. Rated 5 out of 5 by from sometimes I just stare at it The note 8 is a beautiful piece of technology. it feels great and look s great. I t has an amazing usability more than any device I've ever owned before. the ability to cut text out of pictures ! translate of of a photo with auto language detection! Its blazing fast. The only draw back is there is so much screen im in fear of damaging it constantly. I recommend getting a very durable case and a screen protector but then you will loose the beauty of the device.
