PRO-88 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Professional 5.25" Media Card Reader / Hub is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! This is my second Atech Card Reader, the first one being a Pro-37U (still in use). The Pro-88 met and exceeded my expectations. Transfer rate lives up to claims. Cards seat nicely. I have two main reasons for liking Atech so much. 1) Excellent communication with their support team (based on my first purchase). 2) The memory cards go deeper into the slots than most other card readers. This is important because many card readers have shallow slots, which can allow easy misalignment, which for those of us who use CF cards, know that the contact pins can be easily bent if the CF card isn't perfectly aligned upon insertion. Atech designed these readers to allow for safe alignment, reducing the potential for bent pins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent reader I constantly copy photos from events from SD and CF cards. I used to have an external reader, but this one is far more convenient and fast. It also includes USB 3.0 ports and a microSD port. People inexperienced with installing hardware on a PC might find it slightly difficult to install, but it includes a quick installation guide which actually makes it extremely easy to install. I have had bad experiences with other smaller readers but to me it generated no software issues whatsoever in W10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't go wrong! Popped it in, hooked up the cables, turned it of and everything works perfectly. Running Win 10, no additional software required.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid product, easy installation Works as advertised and has good quality connectors that are long enough to work well in large size computer cases. I'm guessing it could use more buffering for the memory cards that felt a little slower than my previous front panel, but I did NOT measure this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Upgrade to Old PC Tower & New Motherboard. Upgraded an old expensive tower case with new motherboard, OS Windows 10 and intel chipset. Needed the newest USD 3.0 and 3.1 front ports for convenience of plunging in my three 4 T external HDD's and small thumb drives. Also needed the newest SDXC UHS-II card reader for my Fuji X-T2 camera photo uploads. This looks like a quality product and was easy to install with plenty of cord length even for my old huge tower PC. Windows 10 installation/recognition was quick. Everything worked as advertised and UHS-II SD card reader is backward compatible with UHS-I just as is USB 3.0 is with older 2.0 thumb-drives. Reading other reviews on Atech having tech support if needed and a 20 year history with buying from B&H gave me the confidence to buy the product without worries. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 Stars is because with all my cameras and laptops I'm use to having a UHS-I card reader that is spring loaded allowing the card to enter the slot with only a tiny SD card protrusion to avoid accidental breakage. That design also makes it clear to the touch when the SD card is properly loaded and secured. This Atech is the first UHS SD card reader I've had that doesn't have that feature causing the card to protruded halfway and me to always worry about the connection even though it's always worked every-time for me.
